The captain looked over at her, uncaring. “So this is our new little prisoner. I guess we actually got one worth while now,” he said, smirking as he recognized her.

Ella regained her composure for a moment. “You bastard,” she growled. “What in the fuck are you doing here?” She couldn’t believe it. He was the father of…of… of her dead son. She felt tears spring to her eyes. “Why in the hell aren’t you dead and-” She was cut off as he put a hand over her mouth. She bit down on it and he pulled his hand back.

He looked at his hand and smirked. “That’s nice to know you haven’t changed. Welcome to my ship. Your new home. Now get to work or jump ship because I don’t keep good for nothings on my ship,” he said, his speech actually sounding decent since he had spent some time in towns. He turned to the blond pirate. “James, find her some clothes. She can’t work in a dress! It would distract the men.”

Ella’s head snapped over to the blond pirate who was apparently James. “I swear, you touch me and I will kill you,” she growled. She turned back to the captain as James almost bust a gut laughing. “Walter. I guess you became a bastard. You left me. Left our son! Who died! He could have lived with someone else to help me watch over him! No. Instead you became a damn pirate! You are such a fucking asshole!”

James grabbed her arm, still laughing. “I got her, captain,” he said smirking as he started to walk away, pulling her along with him.

It was obvious Walter felt no remorse. “Take care of it, James,” he said before turning and walking off towards his cabin. He had charts to look at and courses to plot. There was no time to deal with a loud mouth ex that didn’t know how to take care of herself or a child. It was better to leave her in the care of the crew.

As Ella was lead across the deck, she managed to shake of James hand. “Don’t touch me,” she growled in thorough annoyance. She let him lead her till he found her some decent clothes.

Ella caught the clothes that were sent flying at her. “Go back to yer cabin and change. I will meet ya on deck in about fifteen minutes. No more time than that or I come to find ya,” James said as he left her to find her way around. He wasn’t worried about her leaving. They were in the middle of the ocean after all. If she went anywhere she wasn’t supposed to, she would probably end up dying and there was no loss there. “Because I aint gonna treat ya any different than the rest of the boys. Might wanna remember that.”

Ella glowered at his back then quickly made her way back to where she remembered her room was. She looked at the cloths she been given. They looked grungy but she guessed they could have been worse. She changed quickly. It was a black shirt with long loose sleeves and brown pants. Amazingly, they fit. She grimaced again. She had to get off this ship. Without dying.

She hurried out to the deck to find James… She couldn’t believe she was doing this now that she thought about. She stopped dead in her tracks. Why was she listening to everything they told her to do? That was just stupid. She was a hostage or prisoner…She should be giving them all the trouble in the world. Maybe she would…
