-Peter POV-

Me and Ned are currently in Spanish Class where we are self-studying for our upcoming Spanish exam. Most of the student were talking or texting with friends instead of studying seeing as the school years is almost done and homecoming was just around the corner and everyone was a lot of planning to do. Like the guys finding a suit, the girls finding their dream dress and let's not forget about dates. I have somebody in mind to ask as mine date, but she already has a date as expected from her. Her name is Liz and she is very popular unlike me.

For the past few weeks has dad has being trying to talk me into finding a date, fortunately for me pops were there to talk him out of trying to convince me what I'm very grateful for. Other then that I haven't put that much thought to it. I don't really feel like going, but dad want me to go to socialize and I quote 'live a life' while pops want me to go so that I have a break to relax from school and superhero work.

''Have you found a date for homecoming yet?'' Ned asks me. ''No, I haven't had the time to think about that. You know superhero business.'' Ned rolls his eyes at my terrible reason and decided not to push me with it anymore.

''Whatever you say Peter, but you are going right. This is our moment to shine and show Flash how cool you are and let's not forget about impressing Liz.'' Ned winks at me and it is now my turn to roll my eyes at my best friends. ''That is not going to happen and I'm going it's just that I'm worried. The Vulture is still out there, and my dad and pops still don't know anything about that, to my surprise.''

My dad has this so called 'baby monitor' protocol in my suit and films everything that I see through the mask when I'm wearing it. Thanks to Ned I can ask KAREN to deactivate it when ever I want. That is really the only reason why they haven't figure anything out the Vulture and I yet. I have no idea what their motives are or who he is, but if they find out about this then they won't allow me to stop him and he is my first big villain and I want to make them proud and show them that I can handle myself and maybe join in future Avengers mission. You never know, right?

''You are probably right.'' Ned mumbles. ''Don't worry about it, your parents are Iron Man and Captain America, even if your adopted, and let's not forget that your Spider-Man and you have me, your guy in the chair.'' I had to laugh at my friends logic and nod my head in agreement. I need this ordinariness moment in my life, even if it is only for one night. I mean what can go wrong?

Today is homecoming night and I'm standing in my room looking in the mirror at my suit. It's a dark blue jetsetter stretch italian wool suit, with a white under shirt and a gray, blue and black tie. I was a little nervous about showing up with this suit, because of the price and just hope that nobody will realize how much the prize was. Why did I allow dad to choose a suit for me, I should have known better then to think that he would buy a cheaper suit? I do have to admit that the suit looks great, but still.

I hear a knock on the door and without turning around do I tell them to enter knowing who it is. ''Hallo son, how are you doing?'' Pops asks me while walking over to me to the mirror and placing a hand on my shoulder. I take a deep breath before I answer. ''Yeah, just nervous.''

''That is understandable. Just try to have fun Peter. It's good that you take some time from this lifestyle and live a little like the teenagers your age. Normally people your age are thinking about what college they are going to and hang out with friends. We are so proud of you that you want to help people even through you don't even know them, we really do but I'm going to be honest with you and I feel a little guilty that you can't experience those normal things because of the fact who your dad and I are and who you are. Just forget about all of that for tonight and hang out with your friends.'' I look up at my pops eyes and see him already looking at my eyes. ''I know what the consequence where when I decided to become Spider-Man and I will never regret that. Honestly my live wasn't normal to start with and I wouldn't want it any other way.''
