-3 Person POV-

Two nights have passed since Tony found out about the where being of Peter his parents and that he told the Avengers and unknowingly peter about it. Since that night Peter had gotten his sensory overload a few times because of how unstable his emotions have been. Tony has been going through the other parts of the files, hoping that he would be able to find any other information about Richard and Mary their current location. Steve and Bucky have been talking a lot in the hopes that Bucky might remember something about the two scientist, but sadly nobody was able to find anything.

Peter is sleeping with his head on Tony's shoulder. They were together doing some more resurge and making Peter's homework. He didn't need any help with it, but he wanted to look if Tony found anything while he was making it and in the end Tony was able to help him with one of the questions of his Spanish homework.

Tony was getting exhausted from the restless nights that robed him from his much-needed sleep. Looking away from the oh so familiar screen and at the sleeping boy beside him a small but sad smile formed on the millionaires face. What is he supposed to do? He has been looking through these files for so long. He looked through the SHIELD database. They asked the former Winter soldier about the missing parents, but they couldn't find anything at all.

Tony puts his head in his hands ,careful not to disturb Peter, and takes a deep breath. Maybe he should take a 15-minute break, just to clear his mind and then continue. And just like that he close his eyes and let's sleep takes over.

Later that night Steve walked into the lab looking for Peter. He normally leaves the lab around midnight and then goes to bed, but he still hasn't shown up yet. He looks around the lab and sees his son sleeping with his head on a sleeping Tony. He walked up to the duo and saw the bags under Tony's eyes, he couldn't make Peter without waking Tony up, so he decides to leave them as they are but not before laying a blanked over them to keep them warm through the night.

-Time Skip-

When morning arrives, Steve came back to the lab to check on the probably still sleeping Peter and Tony. He enters the lab and like speculated they were still sleeping. Steve walks up to them and puts a hand on his son shoulder and shakes him lightly. Peter's droopy eyes open and looks around in confusion. When his eyes landed on Steve he mumbles 'good morning dad' and closes his eyes again. Steve shakes his head at his sons behavior and tries to wake him up once again. Peter opens his eyes again and yawns. He didn't close his eyes this time indicating that he wasn't going to fall asleep again.

''Good morning son. You mom is making pancakes in the kitchen. You better hurry before Clint eats all of them.'' Peter's popped open, any sign of sleep was gone from his eyes, and practically jumps up from the chair that he was sitting in and to the kitchen where a stack of pancakes was awaiting him.

One down and one to go. Steve puts a hand on Tony's shoulder and Tony practically fall out of his chair from shock. ''Gosh Steve what are you doing here? What time is it?'' Tony askes while rubbing his eyes and repositioning himself on his chair. ''it's 7 AM, Tony.'' Tony gives Steve a confused and then rolls his eyes 'so much for a 15-minute break', he thought to himself.

Tony looks around and sees that the kid was missing, Steve sees the confused expression that Tony was making while looking at the chair where Peter was previously siting. ''Peter is in the kitchen eating breakfast. You should also come and eat something. You didn't join us for dinner. I know that Peter brought you some last night, but that isn't enough and you can't survive on only coffee Tony.'' Steve tells him while using his famous Captain Amerika persona. Tony gives Steve a look and nods his head lightly knowing that he is right and that Pepper will probably scroll him again later today if he didn't show up for breakfast again and that he stayed in the lab the whole night.
