Kitana's P.O.V.
I was two days away from being married to the greatest man and soon-will-be father of our children on earth. Everything for the wedding was being set up at the Pyramid of Argus, and it will have a red, gold, and black theme. I am wearing something different from the traditional white, and the girls are wearing gold dresses. Argus and Delia—I mean, Dad and Mom—said they'll take care of the wedding. Although they were shocked we had—well, been having premarital sexual activity for the past two years—they said that they are quite glad we are raising the child together. And I was glad too. Daegon hadn't backed out on his word. Except the slap he gave me two weeks ago, he never abused me. We have been going to my prenatal exams for the past week—and the baby or babies, the doctor thinks, is doing just fine. I hope for a girl, when Daegon, as I thought, wanted a boy. If we get twins, we can both be happy. And Marshall, I was still furious with him. He kept doing things to make me see he was telling the truth. Emails, letters, notes, songs, flowers, and arrangements for us to meet. I burned the mall and one time, he sang outside the girls' dorm, and as they swooned, I threw a flower pot out my window, showing my anger. And also, I feared of Ashley. I would never see the light of day should she find out about what Marshall had been doing.
It was a normal Thursday afternoon, snow had stopped falling, but it was still cold enough that icicles hung on the edge of the roofs of the schools and dormitories. I was with the girls, and the boys' school band, Twisted Mercury in the Music Room playing our acoustic guitars while Heinrich played his electric guitar and drums. We were practicing a song to play for the 3rdAnnual Battle of the Bands that is being held in London in Earthrealm. We went to their schools for last year and the year before that, Earthrealm's band—Meteor Shower won for two years straight. Well, this time we will surely win.
"We got to think of a way to win this year." Carly said to everyone as she sether guitar down.
"I know. We tried but lost to those humans." Baracka sneered.
"Hey, I have an idea that will work great!" I exclaimed, putting my guitar on my side and messing with the strings.
"You're gonna lose some weight due to you barely holding your guitar?" A guy remarked, and I smacked his arm.
"Shut up, Nathan. What I meant was,we should all play as one band. Meteor Shower, had like what, five people? Hell, there's seven of us. That's a sure fire way." I said, smiling.
Heinrich grinned a bit, and lightly punched my arm.I was glad he accepted me as one of his guy friends. "That sounds great, Kitana!" He said, and strummed his guitar. I grinned, and we all grabbed our guitars and bongo drums and played an acoustic version of My Wall by KoRn, and it turned out we rocked. While they packed the equipment up, I told them I would meet Daegon in the lounge while they went to their dorm rooms. I was really glad that he isn't abusing me anymore—and we'll be a family. On Saturday, we will say I do, and our lives will begin. And I always laugh when he makes baby noises and talks to the baby.
