Harry POV:

We are in 5th year. I successfully defeated Voldemort last year, thanks to some help from Draco. We became good friends because of it. Even the Weasleys warmed up to him. Him, Pansy and Blaise hang out with me, Ron and Hermione nowadays.

But lately, I have been feeling different when I see him. My stomach drops, my heart flutters, I smile more and I became a hundred times happier.

I have known that I am gay for a long time now. I have told Ron, Hermione, the Weasleys, Remus and Sirius (who are engaged by the way). But I haven't mentioned it to my new friends because it never came up. And I am scared that I will lose Draco.

But I am not in love with him. It is not like my life will shatter to pieces if anything happens to him, or if he leaves me...

Shit. I am in love with Draco Malfoy.

Draco just came out to us and so I told them about my sexuality as well. Right now, we were walking to class with barely no one around. Suddenly, Draco stopped walking, causing to halt next to him as well. Before I could ask what happened, he said "I like you, Harry."

"Huh?"

"I like you, as more than a friend..."

My mind went blank for 5 seconds before that sinked in.

"I like you too, Draco, as more than friends."

He looked at me smiling, making me smile as well. He then took my hand and held it. I squeezed his hand and he squeezed back as we walked to class, both a little happier.

At the end of class, I asked him to be my boyfriend and he agreed.

"Do we need to tell them?"

"Who?", he asked.

"Our friends. Do we need to tell them about us?"

"We don't have to."

I sighed relieved.

We had been dating for a week now and we are yet to tell anyone. To be completely honest, we don't need to tell anyone because we make it pretty clear that Draco and I are dating. The hand holding, the kisses on the cheek (we have never kissed on the lips in front of anyone. In private, many times).

Why do we need to tell anyone? It is not anyone else's business.
