When Kyung tells Yeongjae about helping Minhyuk, his reaction turns out as shocked as he had imagined it.
All Yeongjae did was stand there, speechless for about five minutes before he suggested Kyung thought about it again.
According to Minhyuk, Kyung might know how to apply the technique, but he doesn't know the technique, but on how to make those more realistic and less emotional.
Minhyuk is still trying to do his spinning moves without stopping too much, and when he actually manages to stop in the position Kyung's been telling him to try for at least an hour. Immediately, Kyung opens his arms and lets out a big sigh of relief.
"That's it! Do that again?"
Minhyuk gives out a labored breath and, although it still takes a few more minutes before he manages to do that same movement again, Kyung can tell it's slowly getting better. Now, they've been only practicing together for a couple of days, but he can feel Minhyuk's determination and how bad he wants this to work. Somehow, that convinces him that all the headache will be worth it in the end. He might be the hero, after all.
For the next round of laser tag, they decide to stick with the same teams.
"We shall take revenge for our Joon." Shinhyuk says, placing his hand on his chest.
Everyone start moving around and preparing for the game.
They win again. No surprise there.
This time, though, Minhyuk is the one with the most points in their team, and Kyung wonders whether the commotion around them comes from the fact that Minhyuk actually managed to surpass him.
"You're losing your charm." Shinhyuk comments, staring at Yeongjae.
"What happened to the guy who's good at everything?" Joon asks, tapping Yeongjae's shoulder comfortingly.
Yeongjae sighs heavily, "He got stuck in a team with two guys who don't like each other."
"I think you guys might've noticed this by now, but Sanha is the one with the least points in the team. Which means he's out, which means you guys did pick the wrong leaders-" Kyung says.
"You're bragging after being the second best." Sanha cuts, "Surely you wouldn't have been any better as a leader."
Shinhyuk sighs loudly, throwing his arms around Sanah, "Our brave captain, we will miss you. It is very unfortunate that they ended up with the teammates they did. But hey! We can always put the blame on Yeongjae."
"Hey," Yeongjae glares, "How is it my fault that, if I didn't pick them both, they would kill each other in different teams?"
"You guys do realize that, if you keep winning, Kyung and Minhyuk might be the only two left?" Doosik states.
"Get back in the game, Yeongjae." Minhyuk fake whines, sending a sharp grin, "I wouldn't want Kyung as my last challenge."
Sanha laughs, stopping Kyung from answering, and stretches out his arms, "Hey, we were talking about going out after this. Does anyone have anything better than to do than to go and get some ice cream? I suggest each person from the losing team treats one person from the winning team."
