She felt the difference in the air when she entered the house JDM, Norman and Andy shared while filming in Georgia. Andy and JDM had excused themselves while they went to phone their wives. Now it was just her and Norman sat in the living room while classic rock played quietly in the background. She had ridden in Andy's truck with Dixon as the other two had motorbikes. But they had made a quick pit stop along the way so Andy could pick up some dog food for Dixon.

"You must pay a fortune for your air-con bill." She said to Norman as the cool air caressed her skin.

"It's worth it. Otherwise, we would melt." He said to her. She felt very nervous all of a sudden as she could feel Norman sat next to her. "I have to say Sadi; you are a very attractive woman." She smiled at that,

"I'll have to take your word on that as I haven't looked at my reflection for years." She heard him chuckle next to him.

"Well how about I run you a bath so you can freshen up. I've got a spare shirt you can wear while we wait for your friend to bring you clothes." She sighed back into the seat

"That would be lovely thank you." She heard him get up from the sofa and walk away. Now it was just her and Dixon sat in the cool air. "Dixon come." As her dog padded over to her he placed his head on her lap so she knew where she was. "Dixon I wish you could talk and tell me what this room looks like."

"It's big, has white walls and there are several of Norman's art pieces along the wall." She jumped as Andy's voice sounded by her ear. "Sorry didn't mean to make you jump?" He sat on the sofa and placed a cool glass in her hands. She took a drink and was happy to know it was a glass of cola. "Where did Norman go?"

"He has gone to run me a bath." As he was about to speak the doorbell rang.

"I'll get it," JDM yelled from behind them before the sound of the door opening was heard. "Hey, Lauren."

"Hi JDM. Hi Andy." She heard the English accented voice of Lauren Cohen behind her. "You must be Sadi?" The woman asked as the air shifted In front of her before a soft hand was placed on her own.

"Hi. Yes and this brute next to me is Dixon." She smiled as Lauren said hi to Dixon, who just thumped his tail on the floor in greeting.

"Bath is ready," Norman said as he came into the living room. "I placed a towel and my shirt in the room for you." She felt his hand on her arm as he helped her up. Slowly he led her to another part of the house where she could feel the steam as it hit her face. He led her on a tour around the bathroom so she knew where everything was.

Once he left he pulled the door up but left it slightly ajar in case she needed help. As she stripped off her clothes and sunk into the hot water a sigh escaped her lips. She could smell rose as she sunk lower into the bath.

"She is nice," Lauren said to the three men who were in the living room

"Yeah, she is really pretty too," Norman said before he could stop himself.

"That she is," Andy said as he sat next to his friend.

"It must suck to be able to see one minute and then be blind the next," JDM remarked as he took a drink from his beer.

"Yeah. She said her husband couldn't cope with looking after her so they divorced." He turned to look at his friends, "why would a man who was supposed to be in love with someone do that? If that ever happened to someone I was with I'd look after then no matter what."

"Some men aren't like that Norm." Lauren said, "it's awful but that's how things are." Just as she was about to say more they could hear Sadi as she sang in the bathroom. The words were foreign to them all but the song held so much hope in it that they couldn't help but smile at each other.

"She has the voice of an angel," Norman said as he blushed. The second he saw her he just wanted to kiss her, there was something about her that made his heartbeat double time. Andy, JDM, and Lauren both laughed at him

"Sounds like someone had a crush?" JDM teased as he pushed on Norman's shoulder.

"Nah. She is a fan. I don't do fans." He said.

"She maybe a fan but she still is a gorgeous woman with that long blonde hair and curvy figure." Andy said as he looked at his friends who looked at him I shock, "What? I'm married, not dead." He said as they gave him a knowing glance.

"Yeah, I will admit she is gorgeous," JDM said just as Dixon came bounding up to them whimpering. They looked at the dog before a crash sounded from the bathroom. Immediately Norman ran up to the room and saw Sadi sat on the floor with tears in her eyes. He quickly grabbed the towel before wrapping it around her.

"Are you ok?" He asked as he helped her stand up, making sure the towel was wrapped firmly around her,

"Yeah, I just slipped as I got out of the bath and I think I grabbed hold of a shelf." He looked around and saw some of his toiletries on the floor, the shelf was hanging at an angle.

"It's ok. Nothing broken. You just knocked the shelf. He said as he led her to his room, picking his shirt and her clothes as he did. He sat her on the bed and laid her clothes next to her. "Your clothes are here with my shirt." He said as he placed her hand on them.

"Thank you, Norman." She said and he swore his breath caught in his throat. He husky voice saying his name caused his body to inflame

Leaving the room he walked back into the living room where his friends were.

"Is she ok?" Andy asked as he gave him a drink.

"Yeah, she slipped as she got out of the bath and pulled the shelf down." He said as he went to the utility room to grab his power tools. "I'm just going to put the shelf back up."
