We soon reach culinary and see Ms. Shimirashi in an apron getting class ready. We head to our stations and prepare our pots, pans, bowls and more. Soon enough, the rest of the class walks in. Of course I was paired with Miyasaki.

"Hello everyone, today, this next project is going to be a cake! Each team will make a cake whether is wedding, birthday, or any event. I'm grading the cake on taste, look and presentation and you may cook in your dorms. You will have 2 days to work on this," she says.

"Yes chief!" We say before starting.

"Let's make a wedding ice cream cake!" Miyasaki says.

"Good idea," I respond.

"So we need frosting, ice cream, of course, badder and more," she says.

I head to the refrigerators and grab what we need and head back to my station.

"Here take a break for now Miyasaki, I can do this," I say, cracking my knuckles.

Usually whenever we are doing projects, I always depend on Miyasaki, now it's my turn to give back the favor. I started to preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Then buttered two 9-inch-round cake pans and line the bottoms with parchment paper; then buttered the parchment and dust the pans with flour, tapping out the excess. I then whisk 3 cups flour, baking powder and salt in a bowl until combined. Then beat 2 sticks butter and sugar in a large bowl with a mixer on medium-high speed until light and fluffy, about 3 minutes. I then reduced the mixer speed to medium; beat in the eggs, one at a time, scraping down the bowl as needed. Then I beat in the vanilla. The mixture may have looked separated at this point, so I know I'm doing it right. So I beat in the flour mixture in 3 batches, alternating with the milk, beginning and ending with flour, until just smooth.
I then divided the batter between the prepared pans. I then put them in the ovens to bake until the cakes are lightly golden on top and a toothpick inserted into the middle comes out clean, 30 to 35 minutes. After that, I transferred them to racks and let cool 10 minutes, then run a knife around the edge of the pan and turn the cakes out onto racks to cool completely.  I then remove the parchment and rimmed the tops of the cakes with a long serrated knife to make them level. I then put a variety of chocolate, strawberry and vanilla ice cream all together. In completion I wine off my sweat and see Miyasaki impressed.

"Wow, that looks so good Anzai!" She says, patting my back. Some of the guys give me a death stare, in which makes me shiver.

I then put the cake in the freezer as Miyaasaki washes all the stuff we used in time them the bell rings.

A/N: Hello reader! I hope you enjoy the daily life of Anzai and more chapters are coming soon I swear!!
