After the day ran fast as a cheetah, I decided to head to the arena to see Shiba. She wanted me to help her train for something. Honestly though, I have no idea what it is for, but it better be worth it. I had to reschedule with Kokizaki, plus I have a lot of work to do.
When I walk into the arena, smoke filled the room and I couldn't see anything. Blinded, I yelled out for Shiba, but no answers were heard. Soon enough the smoke cleared and I was under the entrance, but then Shiba swung under from a rope.
"Ah!" I screamed in surprise.
"Hehehe," she giggled, "hey Anzai, did I scare you?"
"Of course you did!" I said walking in.
I then looked back at Shiba and she was wearing something more different than usual. Instead of her own usual costume, she has red stripes and a brown wrapping with her shirai Ryu symbol as a clip to hold the wrap. She still wore black pants and yellow as her base, but her sleeves are shorter and shoulder armor was added. On her top she also decided to have a black hoodie like the one she had long ago. Her mask was also different. It was yellow, but it was more metallic and having a skull like design. Not to mention her weaponry has expanded. Shiba decided to have a long katana and a short katana along with her rope spear.
"Love the new look," I say.
"R-really!? I-its nothing," she said, blushing a bit.
I chuckle, "so why do you need me?" I ask.
"I need you to help me with my new abilities and combat methods.
"Alright," I say.
I moved back a bit and Shiba prepared for attack. I transferred some of my body to make it look like I'm wearing body armor and helmet. Over time, I've mastered to control using Instinct and although he's pretty cool to have while being bullied or being a good help with subjects, he's terrible roommate. Trust me, one time Instinct couldn't stop eating. From 8 PM till 4 AM, he kept eating and eating and eating. It was hell. Anyway. Back to training!
I charged at Shiba and my arm turned into a trill and I try to strike her, but she swept my feet causing me to fall on my back. She then try to stomp on me, but I was able to dodge and get back on my feet. But she was faster than before. She launched her spear at me and then swung it was me like a yo-yo. I then backed away, but then she grabbed me her spear and slashed me by her sword, then disappearing from smoke then slashing me from behind again. I soon fall in defeat.
"Ack! Damn you're fast," I say.
"Hehe, I've been practicing y'know," she smiles, and lends me an arm up.
"I can tell," I say, getting up with her help, going back on my feet.
"Alright, let's do one more," Shiba says.
"Okay, but this time, I'm not holding back," I say.
