This Isn't a Normal High School

Ice vs. Earth

Manaki, Miyasaki and I reached the school campus, greeted by Akio and Kokizaki. They already started eating breakfast without us.

“Morning you three,” Kokizaki says.
“Morning Koki,” Manaki says.

“What did you two get for breakfast?” Miyasaki asks.

“It's just the ol’ rice and steak as always,” Koki says. 

I decided to order the same thing and the other got what they wanted. I then sat down next to Kokizaki and start eating. All was going well until a rumble shook the room. All we thought was it was only an earthquake but I then feel a shiver up my spine.

"What's going on?" Manaki says.

"Its Kai, but I can't tell about the earthquake, Shiva and her have been chill," I say.

"Here, I can check out what's happening outside," Akio says.

"I'll come with," I say running out.

Akio and I walk out to the front yard to see Kai fighting a ninja. There are ice shards and rocks everywhere. The girl fighting Kai wore an outfit similar to Shiba's but the color is more brown. She wore a gas mask looking it's that's the only way she can breath. For body type ...y'know...she's made out of rocks and her eyes are glowing yellow and her arms are glowing green. Her powers seem to be something like Earthbending. Anyway, back to the battle!!! I have to do something. 

"Kai!" I yell, "stop this!"

As Kai hears me, she gets struck by a boulder and falls to the ground. 

"Hahaha! I told you, the Lin Quei are doomed!" The rock girl says, lifting rocks to her feet. 

The rock girl turns into a mutant and strikes a punch at Kai. Right at impact, Instinct was able to transform and block the attack.

"A-Anzai?" I hear her say.

"Don't worry about me, Akio, get her to the nurses office," I say.

Akio flies to Kai and grabs her, "Got it."

"It's about time we meet Anzai," she says.

"Who...are you?" Instinct says.

"Nice voice you got there," she says, "too bad you'll be smashed later."

"Nevermind then…" Instinct replies.

The girl tries to attack me, but I was able to counter the attack and swung back. Knocking her back, I dashed towards her and charged up my downward attack and smashed her right in the head. As a result she falls down and turns normal. I then turn back into myself and flap my jacket back.

In the distance Ms. Sullivan walks to the field to check on what happened. Some of the campus security followed behind her.

"You alright Anzai?" She asks.

"Yeah, I'm alright, but the campus isn't," I say looking at the quad, completely destroyed.

"True, but man, I can't believe you were able to beat her," she says.

"Yeah, wait what!?" I say in shock.

"You didn't know? The girl is Tremor, she's a 3rd year and a step sister to Markus," she explains.

"Well then, but why did she fight Kai?" I ask.

"Well, the Lin Kuei and the Black Dragon clan aren't much allies I would say," Ms. Sullivan says, fixing her glasses.

"So there's clans in this school now," I say.

"Apparently," she says, "Well, you should start heading to your class, the bell is about to ring."

"Right, I'll see you later," I say running to my class.
