Ivy's POV

It's been a week since I arrived back, I have a huge scar on my arm and my bruised side is getting better.

I still haven't told my friends what happened when I was gone, I find it really hard to when Greta's always around.

Today is the day I'm going to tell them all, just not with Greta around, we're all making sure of that.
We're meeting up at the Quarry because Greta doesn't know where it is.

"Ivy?" I hear from my door, it was Bill.

I walk over to the door and open it to see Bill standing there, "Ready to go?" he asks.

I nod and I walk outside the house with Bill and I get on the back of his bike as we ride down to the Quarry I start to remember last summer,

"So, who's going first?" Bill asked, as all the losers except Beverly and I are standing at the edge of the cliff, leading forward to look down at the lake beneath them.

Me and Beverley just arrived and we were undressing ourselves ready to jump in.

"We'll go," Beverly said.

The losers look back to see us in their underwear running towards the edge.

"Sissies" "Pussies" Both Bev and I said at the same time. They both ran past the boys and jump over the edge.

"What the fuck?!" Richie yelled quite loud, as we crashed into the water.

When we surfaced we heard splashes around us and that's when we knew they were all in the water.

We swim to where we can stand and splash each other.

Then Bill gets under Beverly and stands up with her on his shoulders.

That's when I feel someone standing up under me.

Richie stands up with me on his shoulders as I try to push Bev off of Bill while she tries to push me off Richie.

I pushed on Bev's hands a little more and eventually she fell off.

I cheer and Richie falls back taking me down with him.

We pop our heads up again and laugh at each other.

I look over to see Bill watching Bev and when she looks at him, Bill looks away.

By the looks of Beverly's smile, she caught him.

What I don't realise is that there are a pair of brown eyes staring at the back of my head smiling softly.

I smile to myself as Bill and I make our way down to the quarry to meet up with the others.

Bill stops as we're going to walk the rest of the way.

We're walking to the quarry when Bill speaks up, "Hey, by the way Greta shouldn't b-be here today"

I look up and smile and then I look back down ahead of me.

"I know you still l-like him Ives" he says.

I stop in my track and look up at him, I can feel tears in my eyes but I refuse to let them fall.

I shake my head at him softly "it doesn't matter Bill, he's happy with Greta and I'm not going to spilt them up or anything" I smile at him.

He brings me into a hug and I hug him back.

We let go and I look up to see him smile at me.

"Let's go" he says and gently pushes me towards the quarry.

I'm absolutely terrified to tell them what happened but I need to.
