Eddie's P.O.V

Well as soon as Mum took Ivy inside with Beverley, I believe that she says yes to the sleep over.

Mum's talking to Ivy, Beverly, El and Max while the boys and I start moving furniture so we can all sleep on the floor.

"So, Eddie" Bill starts.

I look up at him in question and he just gives me the you-know-what-I'm-going-to-say look.

I sigh "I don't know, I mean, I just broke up with Greta and I'm worried that if I asked her out she would think that I'm using her to get over Greta-Which I would never do by the way" I quickly correct myself.

"I say go for it!" Stan says.

"Yeah mate, I don't think she'll think that either" Ben says.

"Annnnd" Richie comes over
"If she doesn't want to be with you"
he puts an arm around my shoulders
"Put in a good word for me would you?"

I scoff and push him away while trying to hide the smile on my face, while the others laugh.

"What are we all laughing about?" Bev asks as she and the girls walk in.

"Nothing!" We all yell.

"Jeez. Okay..." Max says.

We all grab pillows and blankets to use and we set ourselves up with three people on the couches and the rest of us on the floor.

I have a couch as well as Richie and Will and we get comfy, while the others are setting themselves up.

I lay down onto the couch with a clear view on everyone, and in front of me is Ivy.

I watch her as she tries to get comfy on the floor and lays her head back into the pillow.
She stares up at the ceiling looking dazed.

I look past her to see Bill and Beverly snuggled up as well as Wheeler and Eleven then Max and Lucas, then there's the rest of us. Alone.

I look back to Ivy to see her turn her head to look around and then her eyes catch mine.

I can't help but smile at her and she smiles back.

"What day huh?" She says.

"Yeah" I chuckle slightly.

"You got that right" Max says.

"I would know what to do if I lost you" we hear Lucas say as he snuggles into her shoulder.

I can faintly see the smiles of most in the room.

I look down to see Ivy rubbing her eyes to then have her arms flop down next to her head.

All is silent until Ivy had to open her mouth.

"I hope the fucking clown has a very bad day tomorrow" she says.

We all lose it and burst out laughing.

"I hope he trips and falls down his well" Ben laughs.

"Do you think an asshole species like him could stud his toe or something?" Richie says.

We all just keep laughing.

I watch Ivy as she laughs and my god.

She's beautiful.

I smile while she continues to laugh.

We keep talking for a little bit but after a while we all fall asleep, having comfort in knowing that we're all around each other.

And believe me.

All I need are my friends.

Who won't just come and go from my life.

No.

They'll leave footprints in my heart.

Footprints that will remind me of what we've been through.

Not only the good stuff, but the bad stuff too.

And because everyone's been through the bad stuff together.

It makes us being together after it all.

The best part.
