Numb the Pain

This is from Nathan's POV after AJ kicked him out. It will lead up to when he eventually comes back home and sees AJ and Paget on the couch.

Nathan had just left after AJ kicked him out. He thought what he said was wrong and he knew fucked up but he was sure that AJ would forgive him over time. He wanted to give her time to cool off. He knew that Matthew was off tonight so he texted and told him to meet him at the bar. They got to the bar and Nathan told Matthew what happened. Matthew told him that he had nothing to worry about but was secretly hoping that AJ left Nathan because Matthew was also in love AJ. It seems like everyone wants her these days.

M: Nathan, everything is going to be fine, just give her some time and go back later tonight.

N: Yeah that was my plan. I was going to buy her some flowers and wine.

M: Let's just hang here until then.

N: Do you think she'll forgive me though? Like really forgive me?

M: Most definitely bro.

Nathan checked his phone and saw that Erica had texted him. She was trying to figure out where AJ and Paget were because they were supposed to film at 9 and it was now 11. She said that she has been blowing up their phones but she couldn't reach them. Nathan told Matthew and so Matthew tried to text them and nothing. Nathan was worried and so he went home earlier than expected. Nathan pulled in the driveway , walked to the door, and opened it. He walked in through the kitchen and saw them, AJ and Paget, naked and sleeping with a blanket barely covering them.

N: WHAT THE FUCK AJ?! 

Nathan was speechless as AJ and Paget woke up in confusion. The minute AJ realized what was going on she said "Oh Shit" 

AJ: nate I was going to tell you. I swear I was

N: are you kidding me? you kick me out and you fuck your best friend. what the fuck?

Paget was sitting there not knowing whether to leave or stay there. 

AJ: Nathan can we please talk about this? Please?

N: YOU DID THIS WHILE THE KIDS WERE IN THE HOUSE TOO? WHAT THE FUCK?

AJ: Can you please stop saying that?

N: Oh so now you're gonna tell me what I can and can't say after you cheated on me. Fuck you

Nathan stormed out as his phone rang. It was Erica. He answered it.

E: Any word on AJ and Paget?

N: Yeah. You can find them naked on my couch.

Erica didn't even have the chance to say "What?" before Nathan hung up. He got in his car and drove back to the bar that he was at with Matthew. He drank and drank. He felt like his whole life was a lie. Nathan was a drunken mess. He didn't give any more fucks. He picked up a girl went to a hotel, and well you know the rest.

This is kinda short but I just wanted to give his POV from the situation so far. I don't if anyone will actually read this.  I'll continue to write no matter how many people read this though. :)
