Next day Mary didn't go to school. She walked outside and down the street to get some chocolate at the little store. John let her go, but was watching from the window.
Mary checked out and walked out the door. She bumped into someone.
"Oh I'm sorry" said Mary as she looked up.
When she looked up she saw it was her mom.
"Mom?" she said astonished.
"Mary" said her mom.
Mary didn't know what do, so she took off running.
"Mary wait!" yelled her mom as she ran after her.
John had left the window for just a second.
She was running so fast. She ran to the apartment door, just as Charlie was heading in. She ran to him and hugged him.
"Mary whats wrong?" asked Charlie.
"We need to go inside" said Mary.
Charlie saw a woman came running down the street. Charlie picked Mary up.
"Hey!" yelled Charlie.
Mary's mom stopped.
John had looked back out the window and saw what was going on and ran down the stairs.
He ran out the door.
"Charlie take Mary upstairs" said John.
Charlie took Mary away.
"Mom get out of here" said John.
"John" she said.
"No, leave" said John.
"But John" she said.
"No, you left, she doesn't need you anymore and either do I or Eden" said John.
"I want fix this" she said.
"No its to late for that" said John, "Dad's loosing custody and so are you and I'm going to get her, its already happening."
"You can't do that I'm her mother" she said.
"Then why did you let dad hurt her, why did you leave, why did you neglect her" said John, he didn't let her finish. He went back inside.
"Don't come back" said John.
Back in the apartment. Mary was sitting on Charlie's lap crying. Charlie was trying to calm her down with the help of Justin, but it wasn't working. John went over and picked her up and sat down with her.
"She's gone Mary, you don't need to worry about" said John.
"I just don't want them anymore, I just want to be with you and Eden and that's it" said Mary crying.
"I know and that's how its going to be, just you, me and Eden" said John.
John then went to call his lawyer and CPS. The next day was the hearing
