I hear something in my quarters. I crack my eyes open a crack, and see a body walking back and forth. I realize I have a blanket covering me, I open my eyes all the way and sit up. I look to the person to find Ren.

"What are you doing?" I ask and swing my legs over the bed. He looks over to me, and freezes. "Ren?" I raise my brows. "What're you doing in my quarters?" I stand up and walk over to him.

He straightens. "Well, Lilac- "

"Lilac wouldn't let you into my quarters. Don't lie to me." I answer. He lets out a sigh.

"I couldn't find Lilac, and I didn't' know where I was sleeping so, I was just cracking open doors, and I found you." He answers back and faces me.

"So you just decided to come into my room while I was asleep?"

"Well, when I peaked in you looked like you were having a bad dream-," he trails off.

"One, I don't dream anymore. Two, if I look distressed, go get Lilac. Three, you don't have permission or any reason to be in my room. Wait. Did you sleep in here?" I ask him as I glance at my desk. He looks down and the tiniest nod comes from him. Something horrible would roll off my tongue at him, but then I remember our discussion last night.

He looks up at me, expecting me to shout at him. I sigh, "If you have another problem like that again, just wake me up and I'll help you out." He opens his mouth to say something, but I beat him to it. "Now, let's get you a room. Follow me." I say, my arms still crossed over my chest and head towards the door. Ren follows behind me. I lead him to the room on the other side of mine.

"Brexley, are you alright?" He suddenly asks. I turn to face him as I stop next to his door.

"Yes, why wouldn't I be? This is your room. Lilac's is right across from mine, and that room," I point to the one opposite of his. "Can be Demetri's if he would like to claim it." He nods. "Where did Demetri sleep last night then?" I question.

"If I went to your room, maybe he went to Lilac's room." He shrugs.

I nod. "It's up to you if you want to stay here and check out your room or youcan come with me, I'm going to go get coffee."

"I'm with you." He answers, and I nod as I start to make my way towards the opening of the tiny hall. I peak into my room to check the clock that I have on my desk, since I forgot to check it when I was in there. It shows me it's eight- thirty. That means all the girls will be getting up soon and getting to work.

I walk slowly down the stairs. When I finally get to the kitchen, I know no one will be in there yet, so I just open the door and hold it open for Ren to follow and he does.

The way the girls decided to layout the kitchen was simple. You have the window where they give you food next to the door, to the left of that against the wall is a couple refrigerators that we took. Behind the counter about ten feet is a table, followed by nine others. With that, starting from where the fridges end, a counter wraps around the whole room. The kitchen is a little bigger than the other departments' spaces because they have to cook. On the opposite side of the fridges, you have around ten sinks. What they do with ten sinks, I have no idea. Against the far wall that mirrors the window, there's grills and ovens.

I head over to the counter by the sinks. Above and below all the counters are cabinets.I open the middle cabinet where they keep the mugs and pick up two. Each mug has a seal over it, with coffee grounds inside. I had the scientists come up with these in the beginning because some days I could really use that extra kick. Like today, when the day before I went too hard on training, and completely wipe myself out.
