It's been six years since World War 3 happened. A nuclear war that destroyed all countries and wiped out the population. Except for groups of children that the government had sent into underground bunkers. Brexley Merandise is the leader of the last group, all girls. They haven't seen another group since they broke out of the bunker. But that changes one night when a boy comes across their territory. That's when she meets another group, of all boys. After meeting the flirtatious leader, Ren Amos, they decide to merge their groups together. But when a person from the past becomes an enemy, they're forced to put their bickering aside, as well as developing feelings. As dangers and threats keep coming, can Ren and Brexley keep their group safe?

*COMPLETED* When Rosie turned thirty-one with nothing to show for it, she panicked. Suddenly it felt like her biological clock was ticking, but she didn't want to settle for a man for the sake of having a child. So, after falling down a rabbit hole of research online, she decided to find herself a sperm donor. A strangely vague profile ends up catching her interest. The only real thing she learned about him was that his name was Levi and he was in the military. One invasive and intimate procedure later, Lily was conceived. It was a few months after her daughter was born, when Rosie should have been fretting about the price of nappies and lack of sleep, her worries were overshadowed by an event she never, ever could have predicted: a zombie outbreak. Rosie locked herself away in Finches tower block, stocked up on supplies from abandoned neighbouring flats, and lived every day with the sole purpose of keeping her daughter alive. Doing so meant avoiding the dead as well as the living. She'd been doing a decent job of it so far. Until a man breaks into the tower block, but it wasn't just any man. It was Levi, Lily's literal sperm donor. And he was there to save them. -- When a bioweapon was released on UK soil, Staff Sergeant Levi James Brackley was sent from pillar to post in an attempt to help neutralise and contain. Once it was clear neither was possible the last resort was to form a safe zone on the Isle of Wight. Levi decided to stay behind. The last evac chopper left without him on board. He knew it was a shot in the dark, that they were probably dead already, but he had to try. Without knowing it, they'd become a beacon of light during the darkest time of his life. Now it was his turn to be there's.

Defending humanity from its biggest threat, gigantic humanoid creatures which are called 'Titans' seemed like your only way out. Dying here wouldn't be here at the hands of those you had to call kin, at least. Training by oneself alone won't do the trick. So, the Commander assigned you his best soldier as your mentor. A grumpy, blunt, vulgar and aloof bastard with an affinity for cleaning and tea was the man who would watch over your every step in order to become one of humanity's most valuable soldiers. Yet, day by day, restless nights keep you awake. Trauma keeps you away from food you once could eat without a problem. And someone who shouldn't make it 𝘢𝘯𝘺 of his business. The 𝘭𝘢𝘴𝘵 person who should 𝘤𝘢𝘳𝘦, began to visit you regularly at night, when sleep evaded you. Slowly, a professional boundary merged with unforeseen affection you've never been shown before.
