Part 21

Corey's pov

Colby and Sam just left for dinner so me, Devyn and Elton started setting the house up with what Colby wanted
"What time did they say they were supposed to be back?" Devyn asked
"I don't know sometime around 8 I think" I said
"Ok well we're already finished and it's only 7:30 so what do y'all want to do"
As I was about to answer I get a text from Colby
Colby: are y'all done setting up we're almost back
Me: you know a little warning would be nice
Colby: y'all not done?
Me: no we're don't but what if we weren't it wouldn't matter because your almost home anyway
Colby: yeah well y'all are done so it doesn't matter now doesn't
I didn't respond I just set my phone down and went over to Devyn and Elton
"There almost here"

Colby's pov

We were pulling into the drive way and I was so scared but it was a little to late to back down I parked the car and we both got out I checked one last time to make sure I still had the ring in my pocket. We walked up to the door and as soon as he opened it he looked confused I grabbed his hand and walked in a little bit then I got on one knee
"Sam you've been my best friend since our first year of high school and the day you asked me to be your boyfriend was one of the happiest days of my life so now I'm asking you Samuel John golbach will you marry me?"
Instead of answering he ran upstairs with Devyn following Corey and Elton came over to me
"I should've waited he probably doesn't want to get married yet" I said more to myself than to them
"Yeah I don't know what's about to happen but I know it's not that" Corey said
"What?"
Just as I said that Sam came back down the stairs and walked over to me
"So I don't wanna marry you but..."
He got down on one knee
"... Cole Robert Brock will you marry me?"
I started laughing
"Oh my god I hate you so much right now you could've just said yes instead of almost making me cry"
"So yes?"
"Not until you answer my question first"
"What?"
"I asked you first"
"Seriously"
"Yep"
"Fine Colby yes I will marry you"
"Then I guess we're getting married"
He pulled me into a hug
"I love you Colby"
"I love you too Sammy"
