You Cause It...

I walk downstairs in a normal outfit. It's now 8am and AJ is now at school. It's still my birthday sadly. I'm kinda ready to take on the day.

I walk to the fridge and get a apple for breakfast. I wait for Vi to pick me up when I hear a knock on the door.

Normally Vi texts me she's here so it couldn't be her. Louis does a certain knock on the door so I know it's him and not "the secret government".

I walk to the door and open in when I see and white mercedes in the driveway. I then see a man with a clipboard looking at me with boredom in his face.

"Are you Clementine Everett?" He asks looking down at the clipboard.

I chew the rest of the apple in my mouth and say yes. He then hands me the keys to, what im guessing the car, and walks away.

"Wait hold on are you sure this is meant for me?" I ask because let's me honest I don't know anyone who would give me a car let alone a white mercedes.

"It's from a card who belongs to Lee Everett he notes ' happy birthday sweet pea'" The guy says walking off to his truck and driving off.

I soon see Violet drive into my drive-way with Minnie in the car. She hops out of the car stunned at the white angel infront of her.

"Is..is this yours?" She asks I nodded.

"It looks so...clean." Minnie chirps, I give her a confused look because what the hell is it supposed to look like.

"I guess i'll drive to school you guys can go i'll catch up." I say, Vi listens and leaves.

I stare at the car not knowing what I'm feeling.

I really hope I don't become the child that my dad throws money at to keep busy.

"So you dont want anything thrown for your birthday? Not even a dinner?" Louis asks, walking me to my 8th period.

"No, I just want to chill out I guess." I say, Louis just purses his lips together and nods.

"Okay, but I want to bring you to my house afterwards. I want you to meet someone." He says my giving me any chance to answer bc he disappears into a class.

"okay coleman so who do you want me to meet?" I say getting out of my car walking up to a unknown house, which is louis'.

I really hope it's not parents. I mean I would love to meet them I just have this fear that they won't like me.

"Just someone important." He reply's unlocking the door and swinging it open.

It was a one story house. It wasn't tiny, far from it actually. The floors were either stone or wood. Immediately when you walk in you see the marble counter connected to the kitchen. The house was beautiful and spacious nonetheless.

"Follow me he's in here. The nurse should've left a couple minutes ago, but if she's still in there..sorry."

I couldn't understand what he meant by that. Hell, I didn't even understand who he is.

I follow Louis down the hallways passing multiple rooms. The living room was probably my favorite. The windows took up an entire wall for you too see the amazing view of the pool and the entire backyard.

Louis the stops at the end of the hallway facing a door. He takes a big breath and exhales opening the door.

I step in the room a few feet behind him but not too far to where i don't see a kid laying down in a hospital bed infront of me.

"LOUIS!!!" The boy shouts, he looks like a mini louis ,or a louis without dreads.

"Hey bud," Louis starts, giving the boy a hug, "This is Clementine, Clementine this is my brother Luke."
