Nice to meet you

"shit, my bad I'm sorry I didn't see you coming." A tall figure says reaching his hand out as a way to help me back up.

As I closely stares at the guy. He seemed very tall, but from the ground everyone was tall. She noticed he had shoulder-length dreads and chocolate brown eyes with freckles across the bridge of his nose.

"Hello?" the boy says obviously noticing that I'm staring at him.

I could feel my face turned red of embarrassment. I slowly grab his hand accepting his help to lift me back up. "No, it's my fault I was too busy on my phone I'm sorry."  I say wrapping my hair around my ear looking down.

"your new right? I'm Louis Coleman." He smirked leaning against the lockers. I haven't made complete eye contact with him but I know he's staring at me. "Oh. okay." I muttered. oh. okay? why are you acting like this clementine?? yeah okay, he's really cute but he's going to think your weird if you keep being quiet. "Do you have a name?" he chuckled. "oh.. yeah i..my name.." I start stuttering. WTF CLEM STOP IT!  "Clementine. My name is Clementine." I smiled, finally making eye contact with him and slowly getting my cool back.

"Cool, so uh..you don't happen to be a sophomore..do you?" He says rubbing the back of his neck then sliding his hands in his pockets. "Actually yeah I am." I smile again but with more confidence. As I smile I notice his face starting to get red. "i..uh..do you need any help getting to your classes?" He says pulling his hands out of his pockets reaching for my schedule. "Yeah, thanks I really appreciate it." "No problem, I could never leave a beautiful girl like you in the dark." He smirked looking down at my schedule. I started blushing like crazy thanking the gods he wasn't looking at me. "No Way! My day just got 100 times better!! I have you in ALL of my classes!" I notice him smiling very hard which only made me blush more. "Great, now I know one person. Only need a couple more." I say with a mixture of anxiety and confidence.

"No worries leave that to me, I'll introduce you to my friends at lunch they'll love you. In the meanwhile you're stuck with me," he smirked handing me back my schedule. I chuckled. "you said we have all classes together..well lead the way." I smirked stepping aside. "Of course princess," he said bowing down. I let a out a little giggle holding my hand against my mouth, then we started walking to the first period.

As we walked in the class I noticed the class was packed and there were two seats left only they were across the room...FAR..FAR away from each other. "well Clemmy looks like we won't be together. So you gonna tell me how much you're going to miss me?" he smiled cheekily. I rolled my eyes and walked to one of the two seats in the classroom.  It seemed like I didn't have to worry about the whole 'please introduce yourself' thing because the teacher didn't even seem to notice me. Not that I'm complaining. As I'm daydreaming I get interrupted by a girl tapping her pen on my shoulder as i turn to my left I see a blonde haired girl with a edgy style who had an annoyance look on her face she passes me a note then rolls her eyes then turns her body back to the front.

In confusion, I look around to see who it's from because it's obvious it wasn't from ms. 'I'm to emo to be anyone's friend' but my anxiety took over and I quickly opened the note.

belouga? who is that? Thinking to myself wondering who the hell could've sent me this I hear the bell ring. I quickly grab my stuff and walk to my next class completely forgetting Landon...or Louis?

*SKIP TO LUNCH*

As i walk out of my fourth period I feel someone grab my hand. I look up and it's Louis, he smiled I looked at his hand holding mine then look back up at him waiting for him to let go. He chuckled and put his arm around me "so clemmy are you ready to meet my amazing, wonderful, extraordinary friends?" "Sure! As long as they aren't as weird as you I think I'll be fine" I say removing his hand from around me with a smirk on my face. As we walk in the cafeteria I feel my stomach turning inside out. "relax clem, you're fine just be yourself" Louis says with not a flirtatious smirk but with an actual sweet and gentle smile. I force a smile then follow the tall dread head through the cafeteria. For some reason even though i've only known Louis for only a couple hours I feel like I can be myself around him.

As we are walking I notice he starts slowing down then stops in front of a circular table then sits down and taps the seat next to him. As I sat down the whole table stopped laughing and grew silent. "Guys I would like you to meet Clementine Shes new." "Wow, Lou what a brilliant observation." someone says from across the table I look up to see the same edgy girl who was in my first period who passed me the note. I manage to giggle while everyone started laughing. "hey I'm violet, the girl who passed that dumb note to you that this dumb human made." she said pointing her thumb at Louis while eating her apple. I looked at the side of me only to see Louis' face red as violet's apple. "This is Minne, Sophie (Minnie's twin), Marlon, Brody, Ruby, Aassim, and Duck annd Louis but unfortunately you already met him." Everyone applauds Violet for her amazing introduction knowing I now have to obviously say something back in order to not look like a introvert I say "Nice to meet you guys, thanks for letting me sit with you guys I really appreciate it." I say having a gentle smile on. "Well now since you sit with us at lunch we only have to invite you fully into the group. Marlon said standing up with a smirk. "This weekend I'm having a hangout at my house my parents are going to be gone so you guys can all sleepover if you want" Everyone agreed but I had some doubts because even though they 'accepted' me into the group I still felt out of place. Louis nudged my shoulder them whispered in my ear, "I really hope you decide to go. It will be less boring that's for sure." I chuckled. "I don't know maybe." I said with a smirk.

The rest of the day was pretty normal for the first day I met new people had bad and good first impressions and got accepted into a friend group. At the same time, I felt out of place but I also felt at home. I knew that they were really good friends just by the way they were laughing at lunch. I really hope I get close with them throughout the year, but there was someone imparticular that I hoped to get close with. Louis. He was such an amazing friend today he understood how I was feeling and every little joke and comment he made only made me feel better. 

I stopped at my locker after my last period to unload some of my books so there was enough room for my homework. As I closed my locker I noticed Louis leaning against the other lockers with a smirk. I looked up at him with a 'do you need something' look. "so um clem..clemmy..clemst-" "stop just stop.." I say laughing interrupting him. He looked down at me flustered then laughed nervously. "so uh..I was wondering if I could get your number for uh..school..yeah school definitely." he still looked flustered and I couldn't help but smile him being nervous is my favorite side of him so far. "For school huh? well since its school and school's important I suppose I could give you my number." I say smirking holding my hand out waiting for him to give me his phone. He looked shocked but none the less pulled out his phone I opened his phone to see a cat as his home screen. A CAT OMFMKKDKDKSKKSSD I MIGHT AS WELL MARRY THE GUY!!

I enter my number in then grab my backpack and turn around and start walking to the exit of the school. Then I feel a arm around me, look up and notice Louis smirking at me. I push him off playfully then continue walking out of the school with him by my side. As we walk out he stops himself in his tracks. "hey Clem if you need a ride I could um..give you one. Thats if you want." he smiled nervously
