Jungkook 3rd POV

'It's weird' he thinks as he runs besides Taehyung over to the hospital. They had not even a minute ago heard about what happened to Yoongi. Jungkook felt kind of hurt knowing that he hadn't been by Yoongis side when he had woken up, but reasoned it out with him having been to focused on his fathers health rather than anything else in life.

He had seen the confusion crumpling up on Taehyungs face when Yoongis friend, Namjoon, had relayed the news to them. He had felt the way his own eyes filled with tears at the thought of his hyung being hurt. He had heard the way his feet had thundered against the ground as he ran the direction Namjoon had told them.

He didn't like this, this feeling of hatred towards himself for not being there for his hyung. This feeling of regret for not speaking to him the whole week. He couldn't even imagine how Taehyung was handling it. The boy always had the bad trait of taking the blame for everything. He looked beside himself to see the older boy with a blank expression on his face.

They finally reached the hospital after what felt like hours but was most likely just near 20 minutes of running and exhaustion. As soon as they were through the front doors they sprinted over to the lady at the desk. She startled when she saw two rather large boys running full speed at her, but calmed down when she saw them slow down.

"Excuse me miss? We're here to see Min Yoongi." It was Taehyung who spoke first. His voice was firm and commanding. Jungkook had only heard him use that tone of voice once and it had been when his younger sibling had been hurt by bullies.

"Oh, um, are you of any relation to him? You know like brothers?" The receptionist asked them the question but Jungkook didn't really hear it as worry took over his body. 'Taehyung only uses that tone when something bad happens, something bad happened.'

"No. We aren't brothers but we are his damn family. So would you be as kind as to tell me where he is?!" Jungkook nearly backed away from Taehyung as he heard the words being said. Taehyung was never this rude to people he didn't know. This just made it more clear in Jungkooks mind that the situation wasn't something to joke about.

"Of course! He's in room number 314!" The lady shook as the boys immediately ran as soon as they had heard the room numbers. Jungkook couldn't think of anything other than the number 314. As they made it to the door they saw a lot of people coming out of the room. They recognised one of them as Yoongis mother as he had showed them a picture of her.

They slowed down at this since they didn't really want to startle Yoongis mother but it seemed they didn't stop fast enough as when they reached them she flinched. Jungkook was sure Taehyung was going to apologise but he just asked if this was Yoongis room before near showing his way into the room.

Jungkook of course followed but was reminded what had happened as soon as he saw his Yoongi-hyung lying in a hospital bed with his arms in casts and a heart monitor occasionally beeping. He quickly moved over to the side of Yoongis bed and before he could stop himself he reached out to move Yoongis bangs out of his face.

Jungkook hated how Yoongi looked so pale and fragile right at that moment. Of course Yoongi had always come across as pale and fragile to Jungkook before but this was the bad type. This was the sickly type.

He Hated It.

Taehyung 3rd POV

He couldn't believe it. He couldn't believe what had happened. He saw Yoongi, his Hyung, breathing in and out and saw how his chest moved with each inhale and exhale. He didn't like the look that was on Jungkooks face. Didn't like how his eyebrows were drawn together. Didn't like how Yoongis face was set in a constant frown as he lied there in the hospital bed.

He nearly felt himself begin to cry, when he felt a hand reach out to take his. He looked up to see that it was Jungkook who had reached out for him. He couldn't help but smile at the younger's kindness, even if it was a sad smile that grazed his lips. Jungkook smiled back but looked back down at the body lying limply on the bed.

The only sound that filled the room was the constant beeping of the heart monitor. It stressed out Taehyung as much as it calmed his nerves. On one side the sound was unbearably irritating but on the other hand, it was the only thing truly confirming that Yoongi was alive.

Taehyung used this moment of silence to think about what had caused his hyung to be so distracted. He thought about what he had said that week and by doing that, he realised he hadn't even spoken to Yoongi that week. He hadn't said a single word to him and this realisation hurt Taehyung more than he thought it would.

His mind began giving him ideas, ideas that said it had all been his fault. That he had been the reason Yoongi wasn't looking at his surroundings. That because of him his hyung had been hit. He didn't like these thoughts but knew them to be true, so he looked up and asked Jungkook a question that broke his heart.

"Do you think it's our fault?"

His heart broke even more when a panic stricken expression broke onto Jungkooks face. He looked broken just from those 6 words. He looked as if he was doubting it before a face of recognition appeared. It was quickly replaced by a look of regret as Taehyung guessed he had come to an awful answer.

"Hyung..." Jungkook sounded broken when he first spoke, his voice wasn't louder than a whisper. "Did you... um... speak to Yoongi-Hyung this last week?" Taehyung felt confusion cloud his mind before he realised what Jungkook meant.

"I-"

"Neither of you did."
