Chapter 6. The costume

Max P.o.v.

After Midoriya and I dropped Beak off at recovery girl we searched for a teacher.

"M-midoriya? Why are we l-looking for a teacher?" I asked. "Maybe they can tell us what we should do, afterall we just had a villian attack at our school" Midoriya smiled at me as we walked past some other students.

As we walked to the end off the hall we could see Aizawa talking to another teacher. We walked towards him, with the intention on asking questions about the things that had happend.

"Go back to the class and wait for me there" he said. We didn't even get the chance to ask him anything.

We walked back to class, when we saw some of our classmates talking to each other. "Yo Midoriya and Max! Have you heard?" Denki waved at us. "Bakugou, Todoroki and Kirishima were really hurt back there and are now at recovery girl" Denki looked at the ground saying this. Everyone felt bad that they didn't do anything. Because they were the ones protecting everyone.

"W-why don't we just go s-see them?" I asked. Everyone looked at me like I was some kind of genius. "Yea guys let's go!" Mina yelled. Everyone yelled in response as we walked to the door. But before we could go anywhere Aizawa was standing in the door frame. "You aren't going anywhere" he said. Everyone sighed and went back to their seats.

After our lesson program some of my classmates walked to my desk. "Yo Max! You still need a hero costume don't you?" Sero asked. I looked at them confused as to why I need a costume. Then they explained that this was a hero course school so everyone needed a costume.

"Then I g-guess I need one" I eventually said. Mina jumped up and down to my response. "Ooh Max! Can I help you make it! Please?" She yelled in exitment. I chuckeld at her exitment so I nodded. "S-sure why not". She jumped in the air and screeched as Sero and Denki looked at her. They cringed knowing that this was their friend. I laughed a little 'everyone is so nice'. I could see Mina grabbing a piece of paper and a pen. "Okay Max~ what would you like on your costume?" She grinned at me. 'Oh god what is she going to do'.

"Done!" Mina yelled as she ran towards me. I looked at the piece of paper. It was quite a good looking costume. It had oversized pants with a longsleeve turtleneck. She also gave me thick boots and gloves so I could hit people more easily. She provided me with an open back so my wings didn't tear the clothes.

I smiled at her. "Thank you Mina, it's really pretty" she smiled back at me, giving me a tumbs up. "No problem Max~" I chuckled at how she pronounces my name. "Is it just me, or did Max stop with stuttering?" Sero looked at me as they became silent. Mina immediatly attacked me with one of her hugs. "I'm really proud of you Max!" I blushed thinking that this was a dream. 'No one was ever proud of me' I smiled while the other boys laughed.

We talked a bit before the bell rang. We immediatly got up and left to go to recovery girl. I went towards Beak, who was happily flying inside the office. The others went to check on Kirishima and Bakugou.

Beak sat on my shoulder. I petted him so he made himself comfortable. I walked towards Todoroki, since nobody came to see him. "H-hey Todoroki, thank you f-for helping me out there" I stutterd. He petted my head as he got up. "It was nothing" he cracked his neck and wemt out of the room. I wanted to follow him but Mina stopped me. "Max wait! We need to give our design to the designers!" She waved the piece of paper in the air. I walked towards her as Bakugou and Kirishima were already up. "O-okay let's go then" I started walking again.

We handed in the design and it should be here at the end of the week. So we went back to the dorms.

"Jeez, what a long day" Denki complained. "I was the one in a fucking hospital bed pikachu so stop fucking complaining" Bakugou yelled at him, making Denki jump. I chuckled at the group of friends. 'Maybe I can be their friend too?'

You maybe noticed I changed the title to 'Broken Wings [bnha fanfic]', this is because I will add my own characters. I did this so I can enjoy writing this again. When I started writing this book I wasn't sure if I would want to make it a 'reader x Bakugou x Todoroki' but I did. I really can't do that because I don't feel comfortable with it. This is why my writing may have changed a little. But I will read this chapter for myself and correct any mistakes I can find! See you later~
