Chapter 7. Schooltrip

Max P.o.v.

A week after the attack everyone was recoverd, including Beak. As everyone was gathered in the main hall, Aizawa aproached us. "Everyone get on the bus, we're going on a schooltrip" He looked at us, making sure everyone was there. I looked at the bus coming to pick us up. Beak is gonna kill me for this. He hates vicles, especially cars or busses. I sighed grabbing Beak so he couldn't fly away.

Evantually we went onto the bus. Everyone was talking to each other about random things. I sat beside the group that was around Kirishima. I could hear him talk about his past and how he doesn't like his quirk. Soon everyone encouraged him, saying he had a really cool quirk. He soon cheered up making me smile. 'He sure is something'.

When we reached our destination I could see someone waiting for us. They were wearing a astronat suit. "Hello students! I will be your guide today! Please follow me inside!" Everyone did what they asked and we walked inside.

On the inside there were different locations with different environments. Everyone looked in awe as Aizawa coughed. "Everyone change into your hero costume" he pointed at the changing rooms. I nodded and followed the rest.

I could see a suitcase, laying on a bench, with my name on it. I opened it and saw my costume. Beak flew off of my shoulder and picked at it. He looked at me and grinned. I sighed and put it on, just like the rest of my classmates.

When I went outside everyone was already there. They turned around to look at me. I could see Minas eyes sparkle while she walked towards me. "It really fits you Max!" She grabbed my shoulders and dragged me foward. "Hello everyone! I present to you Max's costume! Designed by me ofcourse~" She grinned while everyone was complimenting me. I looked at the ground, as I began to sweat. I don't like this kind of attention, when everyone is just looking at me. I could feel Beak coming closer to me, trying to comfort me. I felt my heart starting to race as everyones happy ecpression turned into a worried one. When I was about to have a panic attack, Bakugou spoke up. "Just listen to the goddamn instructor you fuckers" everyone was kind of offended and turned towards Bakugou. Kirishima ran towards him telling him to not say those things. I smiled thanking Bakugou in my mind.

I calmed down my breathing as Mina petted my back. I pet beak on his head and thanked Mina for comforting me. "I'm so so sorry Max! I forgot you weren't comfortable when people look at you!" She said worriedly. I waved at her not to worry. So we went back to the group and listened to the instructor.

After explaining what we would do Aizawa wanted to take us to the first area. Befire we could reach it, a dark portal appeard infront of us. Countless of villians surrounded us, the teachers tood us to get back and go for the exit. But it was blocked as well. "What do we do now sensei?" Sero looked at Aizawa. Aizawa tried to come up with an answer but before he could reply two idiots barged in. "DIE YOU MOTHERFUCKER" Bakugou yelled as he ran towards the portal. "Oh, bring it on!" Kirishima soon followed. I sighed getting ready myself. I could see all the students getting ready to fight while Aizawa groaned. "Hey! Come back you two!" He tried to call them back but it didn't work. I wanted to run after the two but before I could a portal appeared before me. "Help!-" I could get out, seeing my classmates trying to reach for my hand. I closed my eyes and waited for it to be over.

As I opened my eyes, I looked at my surroundings. I saw Beak getting up as well. I looked below me, seeing some of my classmates fighting villians. I got my wings out and could hear an 'ouch' behind me. I quickly turned around, getting ready to fight. Seeing it was only Tokayami and shadow. "I-I'm so sorry!" I looked at Tokayami with worry. He waved it off and looked from the edge. "Should we help them?" He asked as shadow got bigger. I nodded and flew into the air. "H-hey Max?Could you take me with you?" He scratched behind his head. I smiled and nodded coming down again. I grabbed him and we went down.
