Chapter 4
The next morning she wake up feeling much better, she went to check her Iphone and see what's up on Twitter and she had 30 notifications, people including Stefan tweeting :
"You bitch how could you break up with Stefan!!! #low"
"He didn't deserve it!!!"
"Bitch!!!"
Elena started crying and went back to bed, she didn't want to go to school to be humiliated again. Her mother let her stay at home because she couldn't see her daughter like this. Caroline was super worried she called every class break and texted sweet things during class hiding the phone in her bag, she had seen the mean tweets because some of them were for her and she texted Elena like:
" Some people don't have nothing better to do than to be jerks"
"I hope you're feeling better, I wish I could be there comforting you"
"After school I'm going right over your house to check up on you"
"Stefan didn't deserve you!!!"
"Love you "
Elena replied: "Love you 2"
Caroline's texts made her day a little better but then she got a text from Stefan: "How could you do this to me, I love you so much! What did I did wrong, I want you so bad!!!"
She replied: "I'm sorry"
Later that day Caroline went over to Elena's to comfort her because Caroline was the only who could do it successfully.
A lot of tears ...
Elena was feeling sad and guilty because it was not her intention to hurt Stefan she cared for him but she didn't love him.
Elena needs to go back to school at some point. She is just afraid.
