Charley starting to think the worst about his best friend's whereabouts. He was ready to go to the police, but no one in their friend circle seemed to be on the same page. Besides, Ahmad could very much be in Canada and evading everyone. That much was possible, as Ahmad had been showing a whole new side of himself. Their friend had lost all of his good sense. So instead of spending his time worrying and stalking Ahmad by trying to track him down; Charles dived into his latest music project. He had been spending countless nights in the studio working on his current EP. He was trying harder than ever to deliver a perfect production, and he knew he had to give it his all. The amount of money, time and energy that his production team were putting in was vastly depleting his pockets.

Charles usually had a wide array of women and homies accompany him to the studio, but they never seemed to help the project. Tonight, he had insisted that only his management team; Mello, Freddie, and Dionte be present. They were currently renting out the studio for a yet another extended session and everyone become more restless as the night dragged on.

It was during the wee hours of the morning when he started to strain out the lyrics to his latest love song, 'Insatiable.' Mello was puffing on a half-smoked blunt slumped over the couch while Freddie was fast asleep beside him. Dionte sat warily amongst the equipment watching Charles sing and re-sing the same track into the mic.

Charles started to belt out the first verse sounding hoarse,

"OOohh, ahhhh,

I've been waiting on my life
for a moment like this,
It seems to be every time
baby girl when we kiss,
Electrifying, there's no denying
I got a thing for you
And I can't be quiet
So what's a man to do
Craving your touch
So enticing, inviting
It's almost too much
The taste of your lips
sweetest fruit I ever had
The way you move dem hips
I'm bout lost control...

Ooooh, III need youuuu, And IIII..

"Wait, wait, hold up! What the fuck is all that," Dionte said interrupting the hook through the intercom system within the studio. "Do you hear yourself right now? You sound crazy, what key were you just in?"

Charles fumed having been interrupted once again, "I was in the right key, I wrote the damn song I know the correct notes."

"And I was there when you wrote it, that ain't it, listen if you're tired stop wasting more time and money and let's wrap this shit up." Dionte barked.

Charles wanted to say, "So the fuck what it's mostly my money invested anyway." But decided arguing for yet another night would only deter the project further, and he wanted to finish this five-track EP last week. He was beyond tired and genuinely stressed out over the production, nothing sounded right and he constantly when back over each beat to have it altered and tweaked.

Instead of responding, he just glared back at Dionte through the studio's window.

"So what you wanna do Charles pack it up or do this shit right?" Dionte asked with finality.

Charles grew irate and fumed out in exasperation, "Put on track three."

He waited patiently as the song played through his headphones and then his voice began to resonate with raw emotion.

Ooohh, ayeeee....

Vanished are the days you count on me,
Forever's long gone it can never be
You used to be one and only
Now you're feeling so lonely
There was a time,
you didn't need a dime
I took care of our bills,
and even all the thrills
And I always put your first
Then you shot me where it hurts
From all the lies and sneaking
Can't admit you were creeping
But baby you were keep secrets...
