I growled at Rons nonstop questioning in my ears. "Ron, you should stop worrying about me and focus on your new girlfriend instead. Im no longer interested in you, or must I hex you for you to get that message?"

"Bloody hell! Hermione, you've turned mental!" Ron gasped.

"Your nose is longer than Snapes, but he doesnt stick his nose where it doesnt belong!" I walked towards the potions classroom.

"Hermione." A voice said to my left.

I turned to get my mouth claimed by Harry and I instantly relaxed.

"In now." Severus demanded.

Potions has become my sanctuary. "Granger and Malfoy pair up. Everyone else stay where you are."

"Why does the bat still pair you with that blonde git?" Ron growled.

"Maybe we both have talent in potions Ron." I sneered before leaving.

Once again I plopped down next to Draco who smirked at me. "Finally seeing the redhaired prat for who he is?"

"Painfully, yes." I groaned. "And I hate what Im seeing."

Draco placed his hand on mine, "make sure to keep your temper in check, Granger."

I couldnt help but smile, "thanks Malfoy."

"What the bloody hell is going on between you and Malfoy? Malfoy of all people?!" Ron exploded when we left the classroom.

I groaned, "we made a deal to be more civil. Im done with the rivalry between our houses."

"Hes an evil ferret! You cant trust a thing he says." Ron snarled.

"Thats your view Ronald, not mine. Im not you, Im willing to let bygones be bygones. If you are so childish to keep that grudge with Malfoy, maybe we shouldnt be friends!" I yelled and then ran off.

"What?!" I heard Ron ask Harry.

I was beyond confused, i had two different idenities mushed into my body. Hermione vs Rosa. I knew that by cutting ties with Ron would put the headmaster on alert, but I didnt care. I cant be near a control freak who will supress who Im meant to be.

I came to my dorm and grabbed my compact. I went into my bed and drew the curtians closed. I set up privacy spells of my own. "Cissy." I said to the mirror.

"Rosa?"

"Yes its me Cissy." I sighed.

"Whats wrong?"

"I may gave left one of my old friends." I sighed.

"The Weasley boy?" Cissy asked.

"Yeah. Hes getting annoyed that Draco and I are trying to be civil. Can you please tell Draco to tone it down? I know hes excited to meet his sister, but hes being a bit too obvious about it." I groaned.

Cissy frowned, "I did tell him. Must not have read my letter all the way through. Dont feel too bad about the Weasley boy. I heard from Draco you two have had numerous fights throughout the years. Maybe this time, you wont make up."

"That is true. Severus said that my father is planning on killing Albus to find me. Is that true?" I asked

"Yes. Hes beyond desperate to locate you. He wont stop until he finds you Rosa." Cissy answered.

"Where is he?"

"Here at Malfoy Manor. But you cant come here now." Cissy warned

"And why not?"

"The headmaster."

I groaned. "He needs to stop minipulating people! First Harry and now me!"

"I agree. I tried to tell Thomas that you are safe and alive. But he wont listen." Cissy sighed.

"Look, just because Im your daughter, does not mean Im going to do what you tell me to do. Im my own person with the right to make my own decisions. Does my father understand that? Because if not, I wont allow him in my life." I saod firmly.

Cissy smiled, "the tempermeant of a Black, Im so proud!"

"I have to go. Tell my father I wont stand for him bossing me around. I grew up without him. He may be my father, but he has no rule over my life." I stated firmly.

"Yes Rosa, loud and clear." Cissy smiled before hanging up on me. Luckily for me, I was able to make it to my next class in time.

I sat next to Harry and away from Ron when I entered the Charms room.  Since I already had the theory down, I didnt need to pay attention. I was so  happy when Flitwick allowed us time to practice.

"Hermione, what is going on with you? Ive never seen you this mad at Ron before." Harry said before attempting the water conjuring spell.

"Aquamenti!" Out of my wand flew a steady stream of water. I smiled, then turned to my boyfriend. "Remember, Im more than Hermione. Someone else is interfering."

"Oh right, I forgot. Are you going to forgive him?" Harry asked.

I waited a minute to consider what Cissy told me. "No, not this time." I waved my wand again and once again water flew out of my wand.

"Excellent Miss Granger! 10 points to Gryffindor!" Flitwick squeaked.

"Why not Hermione?" Harry asked.

Oh poor naieve Harry. "I cant find a good reason for Ron in my life. But that doesnt mean you need to cut him out. He was your first friend here." I reasoned.

"Right, when did you master nonverval spells?" Harry asked

"Just the other day. All the teachers will be expecting us to master it soon. Our books say so." I answered.

"Can you help me?" Harry asked.

"Of course I can." I smiled and tried to stop myself from snogging him silly.

"Hermione?" Ron asked later at lunch.

"Im not interested Ronald." I said flatly.

"Come on Hermione, you know you cant stay mad at me for long." Ron chuckled.

I dropped my silverware with a clank, and slowly rounded on him. "Must you be so thick skulled? You have one girl, can't you be satisfied with that?"

"Lavender is no you." Ron growled looking animalistic.

I shook my head and got up to leave the table. Ron took hold of my hand, and I resisted the urge to recoil. Stealthily, I stepped onto his feet.

Ron yelped, and let go of me.

"We are done Ronald Weasley. Why I ever had a crush on you, I'll never know. But read my lips; we are over. Now stay away from me." I stalked out of the Great Hall, not caring about the whispers that followed.
