Getting to know him

Melody

Taecyeon and I sat together outside talking I wanted to get to know him more since he was my partner outside these walls.. "What else do you want to know" He laughed and I started to think "You know my back story, you know everything down to my favourite colour" He added "Do you believe in ghosts?" I asked and he gave mea weird look "Thats completely random but I do and I don't.. I believe in spirits but I don't believe in possession or in hauntings" He said making me nod. I looked over seeing Auntie Liya and my Mom "Did you want to get to know my family?" I asked and he nodded with a smile.

We walked over the my mom and Liya and they stopped what they were doing "Hey kids what's up?" Liya asked and I motioned to Taecyeon "I know you guys all met Taecyeon already but do you think you could get everyone together too Officially meet him?" I asked And they both looked at eachother and nodded "Yeah we can do that tonight over a bonfire?" Mom asked and I nodded "Sounds good!" Taecyeon smiled and so did I.

Nikki

We all sat outside getting to know Taecyeon as we told us all bout his life before till know and it was very relatable, losing your parents at a young age to this than losing another girl who was like a mother figure, I knew it all to well,  I looked over seeing Melody smile and I leaned into Claire "I think partnering up the two of them was a good choice he can protect her" I said and she agreed "Unlike Sungjae, I have tried training him but it's as if he's not interested and just wants to stay in the walls as a babysitter" She said making me shocked "I hope she comes to her senses and breaks up with Sungjae and goes to Taecyeon... I'd feel safer for her" She added and I nodded in agreement "Thats enough let her be with who she wants" Zico said leaning in from behind us. 

Taecyeon

I walked around and town and heard foot steps running up behind and and stopped knowing it was Melody "Got you!" She said jumping on my back hitting my face  "Ahhh!!" I yelled as her hand met my face and she quickly jumped down as we looked forward seeing Sungjae, Part of me filled with hurt when she jumped down, I really liked this girl and would protect her with my life but she was with Sungjae and I had to respect that. 

He walked towards Melody with a straight look on his face "Let's go" He said and Melody Nodded and waved me off. 

Sungjae

I was silent I didn't know what to say, she shouldn't be like that with another guy, I wasn't like that with any other girls.. "I'm sorry.." She said with her head down and I walked out in front of her "Please don't act like that with him, You're my girlfriend not his, it hurts seeing you playful like that with another guy" I sighed and she nodded "I get he's your partner outside these walls but you don't have to be with him all the time inside..." I added and she let out a sigh "I'm sorry Sungjae.. We just got back from a meeting and he left without saying anything and-" "A meeting.. and I wasn't there?" I said a little angered and she gave me a confused look "Why would you have been there you don't do anything? You stay in these walls and babysit rather than Train.. I was getting everyone to know him, and Everyone has told me that you no longer seemed interested in your training what re you gunna do if the dead breach in again? Run to someone who can protect you? Do you expect me to always protect you? It's not going to happen! You need to step up and train with Claire!" She yelled catching me by surprise, but she was right.. I was slacking off and If I wanted to get her back and away from Taecyeon I needed to train and go on runs with the two of them..

*3 months later*

Claire

"Sungjae I can't!! You either want to be trained or you don't you're wasting my time!!" I yelled and he dropped his knife and gun "I'm done, I'll stay in the walls and take care of everyone in here" He growled and I walked over grabbing his wrist "How can you take care  of everyone in here and my niece if you don't even know how to Attack?" I asked and he ripped his wrist from my grip and walked off. 

I walked back into the house and screamed into a pillow and looked up seeing Melody and Taecyeon back from their run "ah.." "Sungjae?" Taecyeo asked and I let out a sigh "I can't Train someone who doesn't want to be trained Melody I have tried" I said and she ran outside.

Melody

"Sungjae!" I yelled causing him to turn around and look at me "I can't do this Mel, I can't willingly hold a gun or a knife knowing I could have to kill a living person if it came down to it." He said and I just looked him "What if the guy or girl had a gun to one of our heads could you do it then?" I asked and he just looked at me and shook his head "No." He sighed and I tried not to snap "I can't do this I can't protect you" He said and my eyes started to water knowing where this was going "I'm sorry, but I can't" He said and took a step towards him causing him to take a step back "I can't be with you" He said and turned to walk off. 

I stood there in shock.. He left me..
