I sat on the patio ledge of the house and looked over seeing Taecyeon "Annyeong" He smiled and I gave smirk "How you feeling?" He asked and I just shrugged my shoulders, "You have a fuzzy" He said reaching my hair pulling a white fuzzy off "Ahh Thanks" I sighed looking up at him. "Taecyeon there you are!" Suga called out causing both of us to snap out of it and look over "Mel, where is Sungjae? He's supposed to be training.." He said and I looked down "He left her... said he couldn't protect her and that if it came down to someone holding a gun or knife to us he doesn't think he could shoot the to protect everyone since they are still a living person..." Taecyeon said and Suga froze "I'm sorry.."
"You were looking for me?" Taecyeon said trying to ease everything and Suga nodded "Actually I was looking for the both of you, you guys have a run tonight" He said and we both nodded.
I got dressed in my kilt, white shirt and a tie and got my back pack on to carry supplies "Why do you always look like a school girl?" Taecyeon laughed causing me to roll my eyes "Cause she is our target she looks approachable so you being her partner will always keep an eye on her so if someone approaches her u have a clear shot" Jay said causing me to nod my head in agreement.

We reached the town after a days drive and I remembered everything as if it was yesterday.. finding the group and them taking me in so fast.. after having my ass handed to me by a girl.. "Okay lets all split up and meet back here in 1 hour" Zico said and we nodded in agreement and went out separate ways. Melody set an alarm on her phone and put it in her bag. "So there is a school over here-" "Yeah I know I kicked your ass in in remember" she laughed crossing the intersection. I felt a little uneasy like we were being watched but I shrugged it off as just paranoia.
"So do you remember there being any supplies in the school?" she asked and I shook my head "But there is a convenient store we could check it may have been completely looted but it doesn't hurt to check?" I said and she nodded following me. We got in and heard footsteps making us stop. We both grabbed our guns and walked around to where we heard the steps, we turned the corner and i put my gun down "Byron? You're still hanging around this place?" I asked as he stood up looking at me "Tae... You're still lurking around with that girl.. you betrayed us and left us for what? Her?" He said pointing at Melody making her laugh "Try me Byron I kicked your ass once I can easily do it again"
Byron looked at the two of us and laughed "Watch your back girl" He said grabbing his stuff and walked out. "what do you think he meant by that?" She asked and I shrugged my shoulders "I don't know but I think after today we need to go deeper in town or find a different one.." I said as she nodded in agreement.
"We should head back we have 10 minutes left" Melody said grabbing her phone and I nodded. We walked out to the intersection and we both felt uneasy after why Byron said.. and that's when it happened..

"MELODY!" I yelled running to her I quickly went in grabbing my gu and shooting the car tires causing the car to spin out and hit the post. "Are you guys o-" I held Melody in my arms as everyone approached "Get her in the car!" Jay yelled, and I carried her over as Zico walked over the car making sure Byron was dead by putting a few bullets into his head. "Lets go! she need medical help!" Kai yelled out the door causing Zico and Jay to run into the car and Kai sped off before they could even get their doors closed.

"Nikita! Hyunseung Quickly its Mel!!" Chanseul called out I looked at Hyunseung and became nervous as we both ran towards the house "Where is she?!" I yelled seeing Zico as he hugged me tight "Doctors its not good Sis.. She was hit by a car..." Jay said making me freeze "What how?!?" I yelled and Hyunseung held onto me to calm me down "Only member of my group.. we ran into him and he told us to watch our backs and we were.. but we didn't expect this.. and I couldn't get to her in time... I couldn't protect her.." I hugged Taecyeon as tears escaped his eyes.

"She's in a coma.." He said and we couldn't stop crying our baby.. "when will she wake up?" I asked trying to catch my breath but he couldn't give me an answer. I turned my head as the door opened.

"I got here as fast as I could is she okay?" Sungjae ran in out of breath, "you came?" Hyunseung said in shock and he nodded "Just because we broke up doesn't mean I stopped loving her.. I left cause I knew I couldn't protect her..." He said making me smile "No one can protect her Sungjae.. she can only protect herself..." I said and he nodded his head and sat beside us "Is she okay?" He asked and I nodded "She is going to live, but she's in A coma.. which is hard cause if a break through happens.. we can't protect her.." I said tears forming in my eyes.
