Escape from the Isle

This can't be happening

Staring in the mirror now, I looked sort of ridiculous.

I wore yellow and blue, Auradon colors, but they definitely weren't me. I've always liked blue but yellow... It just wasn't a good fit for me.

I preferred red violet.

It's always been my favorite color

"You look beautiful!" Evie said fondly as she stood beside me.

I gave her a half smile "Thanks E"

"Are you okay? You seem distracted" Mal said, coming up behind me.

She also wore Auradon colors.

Which really didn't go with her hair.

"I'm just thinking" I said quietly

"About what?" Evie asked

"Ben." I said

Mal and Evie smirked at each other

"And Harry" I added

"Harry? Hook?" Mal asked in surprise

"Yeah. I can't stop thinking about how much I hurt him when we left" I said, looking down

Evie and Mal looked at each other, clearly unsure of what to say

"Sorry guys. I don't mean to be a downer... Let's just get ready to go" I gave them a smile

The two nodded and followed me out the door

~time skip~

I smiled as Fairy Godmother came up to me

"You look beautiful. Don't worry dear, Ben will be here any moment"

"Thanks Fairy Godmother. You look nice too" I replied

She gave me a gentle smile before walking to the punch table.

"Ben will be here soon" Beast said as he walked up to me

"Okay" I nodded

"And you look beautiful" Belle added, "we were shocked.. at first but you.. you are exactly what Ben needs"

"And luckily for me she doesn't go by first impressions" Beast chuckled

I smiled as they walked away

Mal walked up to me and hooked her arm with mine

"Hey"

"Hey"

"How are you feeling?"

"Sort of like I'm gonna throw up" i mumbled

"Okay, that's okay. We're all here for you. But if you do, aim it away from me" Mal joked

I laughed "I'll keep that in mind"

"King Benjamin!" Lumiere announced

"Here we go!" Mal whispered

Ben smiled as he approached me.

"Percy.." he said softly, "I wish I had to to explain.."

"Wha.."

I cut myself off when he gesture toward the stairs where Uma walked.

I gasped softly

"I’m sorry." Ben stated, "It all happened so fast. Something happened to me when I was on the Isle with Uma. A connection."
