I stared at the person, she helped me up and I stood, trying to find my balance on the hedge. She smiled calmly, why was she being nice? An awkward space filled the air, I wasn't going to say anything. She couldn't make me, she couldn't.

Fear crossed her face for a moment before she finally confessed, "Darlin, oh deary me...what are you doing here?" She admitted worry clouding her light brown eyes.

"I...I don't know, I just reappeared here again..." My voice trailed off trembling as I remember my dear little sister.

She squeezed her eyes shut as she nibbled on her bottem lip as if she was forcing herself to not say something. "What...What is it?" I stuttered, something about the way her dark hair blew in front of her face sent chills down my spine.

"You aren't suppose to be here, Alice"

I stared astonished, at her my mouth almost fell wide open. I shook my head, "No! No, I didn't run from home just...just to be told to be sent back! I had to leave my sister," I started at fire burned in my eyes, the lady took a step back. "I had to jump out of a window!" I continued putting my hand over my heart, "you don't know what I have done! You don't know who I killed! Just to be told "I can't be here" you have no idea who you are dealing with!"  With one last glare I pushed her off of the ledge watching her fall...fall...and fall. I blinked, what did I do? My hands started shaking as I shook my head, "NO! NO, NO, NO! LET ME GO HOME!" I felt my head start to become heavy, no...

"Alice? Pardon me, Miss Alice?"

Where was I? My head hurt...why can't i move? Why is everything so cold?

I slowly opened my eyes to see a man with a elegant black tophat that had a white brimmed edge. He gave me a soft, sympathetic smile. "You had quite the fall, Miss. Alice. Luckily, your mother here had found you" he explained motioning to a hallway door.

The door was tall and oaked, the handle was shiny and golden. I stood up from the doctor's bed, I walked over to the door and slowly put my hand on the handle. "Thank you, Mr..." I didn't realize his name, yet. "White, Mr. White" he corrected waving goodbye.

I nodded and opened the door stepping into a very, very dark place.

"Mr. Dormouse, why aren't you in...a house?" I sipped some of my tea humming. The small mouse gave a short shrug, "Dunno, kid, all I know is that Reddie's not happy today" he replied adding something in his tea cup. I burrowed my brows, "who's Reddie?" I asked confused setting down my tea cup.

"The Red Queen Of Hearts, of course"
