Gore warning in this chapter, I swear there isn't much gore in this story, please don't hate me ;-;
~ Mask's POV ~
"WHAT?"
I could feel myself switch to tragedy, but I couldn't help it! The Foundation had the audacity to come to our home, and tell us this horrible news to our faces! I looked over to Doc, who's eyes showed all the pain, fear, and anger I was feeling.
"We will return tomorrow morning to pick her up. The 05 Council believes it is safer for humanity if she is in our hold, and you will be given your bodies on the normal schedule once again." The man on the left said. They both stood there, not even flinching as they saw the anger rising in both of us.
"Damn right you better give us our bodies! But no way are you gonna take away our daughter, you hear me?" I shouted, and I saw them back up a bit.
"If you don't comply, we will take you back to Sit-" His speech was cut off when Doc grabbed his neck. The other person yelped, stepping back and tripping down the stairs, frantically trying to get away on his back while still watching us. Now it was my turn. I willed black tentacles to rise from the ground, which grabbed onto his limbs.
"How does this feel, bitch!" I laughed, letting my dark tentacles raise him and slam him into the dirt. It let out a satisfying crunching noise when his spine snapped.
During all this commotion, a security unit that had been brought with the people had come out, aiming their guns at us and firing. One bullet nearly hit my porcelain face, before a dark figure emerged in front of me, taking the shot. Larry didn't even flinch from it as he began to stalked forward, his maniac grin only facing the unit. He sunk into the ground, only to appear bellow two men, grabbing their ankles and yanking them into his dimension. There were plenty of screams while all this happened.
I blinked once, and Peanut was already up to them at lightning speed. They yelped, stumbling back and I heard a snap. The last man was firing at all of us, missing in his own fear. Larry emerged from the ground, taking most of the shots, but not being phased by them. I reached his arm up, letting it enter the man's chest. He yanked it out, which left a bleeding hole where his heart should be, which was now in Larry's hand. He tossed it to the side and kicked the man, sending him backwards as he coughed up blood. Soon after, the body sank into the ground and Larry turned back to us, giving us a thumbs up. But, his face soon fell into that of.. worry?
I turned, curious to see where he was looking, and I saw Remi, hugging her chest and staring with tears in her eyes. "Oh no, Remi. You shouldn't have watche-" I stopped mid sentence to her running upstairs. "Damn it, she's never seen us be that.. brutal before."
"Well, guess you should have taught her a bit before.. this." Larry said, emerging from beside me. That resulted in me punching him, and my hand beginning to bubble off.
I looked over to Doc, who was clutching the door frame and staring at his hand. "Mask.. do you know what our actions mean?"
I tilted my head, before an overwhelming dread took over. I stumbled back into the house, hitting a wall. "Fuck, fuck, fuck, they are gonna take us ALL away!" I clutched my head. "They are gonna take Remi away, no, no, no."
Peanut came over, patting my head with his little stub hands. "Hey, we're gonna get through this. We can.. get out of here." I looked up, seeing the determination glinting in his eyes. I sighed, standing up and walking over to the stairs, looking at the shape of Remi's door.
"We can do this, dear." Doc came up to me, setting a hand on my shoulder. "We can get Remi out of here. No one is going back to the Foundation, no one."
I sighed, turning and hugging him, resting my face on his shoulder.
"We'll be like those fugitives I see on the TV dramas." Larry said. "But, we'll have to pick up Shy and that anger issues guy with the tattoos."
"Able?" Peanut asked.
"Yea, sure, him." Larry waved his hand.
I pulled myself away from Doc, sighing and looking outside at the truck which was parked on our dirt driveway. "We'll most likely be able to take that car. It'll carry all of us and that stupid coffin Able needs."
I sighed. "This reminds me of the Crusades, always fighting and running from something. Chaotic." I said, looking at Doc who shook his head.
"That time was horrible." He said.
"Mhm." I rolled my eyes. "Well, I guess we better start packing up. We'll need to start moving quickly, since the Foundation probably already sent back-up to come contain us." I took one last glance at Remi's room, where I heard light footsteps from the dogs moving around, probably comforting her. They always seemed to like her the most. I then headed to the garage, in order to grab the remaining bodies that I could use as host's, before I'd have to get random civilians.
"This is gonna be one hell of a chase for the Foundation." I muttered.

Sksksksk, I'm so happy that people are actually reading this! I'm enjoying the thought that people are actually taking the time to read this shitty story. I've honestly been thinking about this kind of story for a really long time before I even thought about making it on Wattpad. Hope you all have a lovely day (or night if you're reading it then)!
