Jeremiah 37:20
"'Therefore please hear now, oh my lord the king. Please, let my petition be accepted before you, and do not make me return to the house of Jonathan the scribe, lest I die there.'"
(Yet they put Jeremiah in the court of the prison. He suffered for God's name. He was trying to warn them of impending doom unless they repented, but they would not listen. We will suffer for bearing God's name throughout our lives too. It's not an easy walk--the Christian life. But God will be with us.)
