The Detective Detects Us

"He will be the first of many."

I awoke and quickly sat up, I was in a cold sweat, since Okumura I had been having terrible dreams, people saying I was the first of many, but there was a voice behind it all telling me I am yet to find myself. I rubbed my eyes and looked over next to me, Makoto was still asleep.

"Good, glad I didn't wake her, she needed her sleep for today."

I slowly made my way out of bed, I had gotten used to sleeping next to Makoto, it was nice to know I always had someone next to me, I quietly got dressed and walked out of Makotos room and looked at the clock on the wall.

"I should have enough time to get Makoto some coffee before she woke up, it'll be a nice surprise for her."

I grabbed my key to the apartment and put my hoodie on as I stepped out the front door, I closed it behind me and locked it when someone spoke to me from behind.

"What are you doing?" A mature female voice asked me.

I turned around to see an older silver haired woman standing with her hands at her sides, she looked very annoyed at me for some reason.

"I'm locking the door." I answered her as I put the keys in my pocket.

"And just who do you think you are?" The woman asked me.

"Who are you?" I countered.

"I am Sae Niijima, and I own this apartment."

Niijima? Oh shit, I've just met Makotos sister for the first time and it looked like I was trying to break into the apartment.

"Stay right where you are while I call the police." She told me.

I heard the door open behind me and I looked over my shoulder to see Makoto standing there in her nightwear.

"Y/N, Sis?" Makoto asked.

"You know this boy?" Sae asked.

"He is..."

"I'm her boyfriend." I said as I stepped in front of Makoto, I knew this was about to get ugly.

"I don't think so, you're far too young for a relationship." Sae said back.

"Isn't that up to her to decide?" I asked Sae.

Sae just looked into my eyes, if she could kill me right now, I think she would do it in a heartbeat. She put her hand on my shoulder and began to dig her nails in, it would've hurt if I wasn't used to taking gunfire or explosions to the face.

"If you have done anything to her." Sae told me in a very threatening tone.

"He hasn't Sis, this is my choice, my life to control, I want him in my life." Makoto said as she took my hand in hers.

Sae just looked at us and sighed, she removed her hand from my shoulder and told me to go find somewhere else to stay.

"And I don't care if it's on the streets." She spat at me, venom dripping from her words.

"Sis, don't do this...please." Makoto pleaded.

"Inside Makoto, we clearly have many things to discuss." Sae told her.

Makoto put her hand on my shoulder and turned me around and kissed me right in front of her sister.

*Makoto POV*

"Maybe this will show Sis how I truly feel."

I let Y/N go and he smirked at me and walked down the hallway towards the stairs. I looked back to Sis who looked very angry at me. I stepped aside and let her walk in and closed the door behind her. She walked to the dining table and put her bag down on one of the chairs and stood with her hands on her hips.
