Investigation In The Horror House

Chapter 4.

Everyone washed and went to the living room and sat on the sofa to start work.

"Shall we start boys?" Alex asked everyone.

"Sure but before that I need to ask a question" Peter asked.

"Yeah sure. Ask anything" Alex said looking at some paper.

"Why did you ask us to wake up at 3:30 in the morning to discuss about this? You should understand we are sleepy" Peter said.

"At this time our brain works well so we can get ideas more faster and we can make quick and proper decisions." Alex explained.

"Wow. I understand." Said Peter.

"Shall we start work now?" Alex asked only then he noticed Jace sleeping peacefully on the sofa.

"Jace, wake up" Alex shouted but Jace didn't wake up.

"Jace" Alex shook him by his shoulder,  only then he woke up.

"Why did you sleep?" Alex asked.

"Because I was sleepy" Jace yawned.

"Jace, wash your face and come here soon" Alex ordered and once Jace came back after washing his face they started work.

"First we have to talk to the local police and ask them to bring the files related to their death so that we can confirm that they are devils." Alex said.

"Alex but why do we need to confirm when we already saw that they are devils from our eyes" Evan questioned.

"Evan its only us who saw that, the others didn't so we need to give them proof that they are really dead" Alex explained.

"Yeah you are right Alex" Evan said to which everyone agreed.

"Okay lets get back to work" Alex said and everyone continued their work.

After hours and hours of working and thinking, they decided to relax a bit.

Just then the local police arrived.

"Mr. Jack, Did you bring the files?" Alex asked after they sat on the sofa.

"I am sorry Sir, I searched everywhere but couldn't find any files related to the four ladies you had told me" Said Jack, the head police.

"What? Are you sure? Did you check properly?" Asked Alex.

"Yes Sir. But I wasn't the one who checked it, It was done by John, My assistant. And I believe that he put all his effort and searched the details but couldn't find anything related to them. I am sorry sir" said Jack.

"Are you sure that you checked it properly?" Alex asked and this time to Mr.John who was sitting besides Mr.Jack.

"Yes Sir. I checked it but there was no file which had their names on it. I think you had given the wrong names sir" Said John.

"Okay I believe in you but you still have to check it again because I have given the right names"

"Okay sir. I will do as you say"

"So it that all that you have got to say?"Alex questioned Jack and John.

"Sir, I have bought few files with me. I would like if you could check it and see if there is any details about the four ladies" Said Jack handing over the files.

"Okay I will check on it. Thank you"

"Okay Sir. Then we are leaving"

"Okay." Alex replied and with that Jack and John left the house.

"Excuse me, Can I come in?" Said Harry who was standing by the door.

"Yes. Come in" Jace said.

"Sir, I am Harry." Harry asked.

"Nice to meet you Harry. I am Jace."

"Nice to meet you Sir. And I am here to meet Sir.Alex. Can I meet him?" Harry said.

"Yes you can." Jace said and called Alex who was in the room.

Alex came to the living room and saw Harry.

"Hi, Harry! Did you bring the playing equipments ?"

"Yes Sir"

"Okay. You can keep it in that corner"

"Okay sir" Harry said and kept the playing equipments which he had bought in the corner.

"Sir, I am leaving now because I have some work in office" Harry added.

"Okay Harry. Thank you for bringing the things" Alex said.

"You are welcome sir" Harry said and after saying a 'Bye' to everyone Harry left the house.

"Jace can you please wake up and join us to play" Alex shouted in his ears.

Just after the early morning work was completed, All he did was eat and then sleep.

Its been 7 hours of sleeping he had done yet he is sleeping like he had just gone to bed.

"JACEEEEEEEE" Alex shouted in his ears and finally he opened his eyes.

"I thought you were dead" Alex mumbled to himself.

"I heard it" Jace glared.

"No problem. Now get up and join us to play" Alex said and gave him a good shot on his arm and left the room.

"MAMAAAAAAA" Jace shouted while the others laughed.

"I hate you Alex. I hate you." Jace shouted and went to the living room with a messy hair.

"I didnt ask you to love me, My Jaceyyyy Darling" Alex fake glared at him.

"I still hate you. I will tell my mama that you hit me" He said pouting.

"No problem" Alex said smiling.

"I hate you" Jace said at left to the bathroom while the others left to the garden to play.
