Chapter 59

I get in the car and wait for Colby.

I open the door to the driver's seat where Sam is

"Let me drive"

"Wha-no"

"I want to take you somewhere"

I smile at him.

I glare at him.

"You do too much for me."

"Come on. Get out"

"Fine," I say and get out and get in the passenger seat.

I sit in the driver's seat and say to Sam

"And I don't do enough for you"

"That's a lie."

"No, it's not"

I start up the car

"Yep."

I smile and shake my head. I put my hand on his inner thigh and start driving.

I smile

"Where are we going?"

"You'll see"

I say and pull out.

I huff.

"You'll live, I promise"

I smile and start driving to the abandoned place he's been talking about for a while. He's been wanting to go but he said he hasn't had time.

"What if you just take me to a forest and kill me? Then I won't live."

I smile

"I won't kill you baby"

I smile and lean my head back.

We get there but I was parking about a mile away and he realized where we're going.

"Awwwweee, you're freaking amazing!"

I smile and turn off the car.

I get out and smile.

I smile and get out of the car and lock it. I go over to Sam and he's so excited.

I look up at his smile.

"You're excited"

I say putting the keys in my pocket.

"Ever since I moved here I've wanted to go."

I smile and kiss the top of his head and we start walking to the abandon jewelry store.

I smiled. I seriously could not believe I was here.

We get there and he's practically jumping up and down.

I bite the inside of my cheek. This reminded me so much of Kansas.

We walk around talking and he tries to take a picture of me but I cover my face again.

"Please Colby"

"But why?"

"Because I want a picture."

"But why?"

"Plleassseeee"

"Baby"

I say and take his phone out of his hand and put it in my pocket

"You don't need a picture, you've taken enough"

I look at him in shock.

"Did you just...Take my phone away from me? You little-"

"Baby, you'll live"

I kiss his cheek.

I glare at him and huff.

I smile and we go to the stairs. I wanted to climb them so I have to give Sam my phone and his phone and everything in my pockets. And of course, he takes a picture

"Cute"

I smile and flip-down.

I smile and give him his things back.

We sit on the stairs and talk for a while before I yawn.

"You tired?"

"A little, but I'm fine"

I say and put my head on his shoulder.

I smile

"You sure?"

"I'm sure. We'll leave whenever you want to"

I tell him and hold his hand.

"It is getting dark."

I nod a bit.

I start to stand up.

I stand up with him and we start walking out of the place.
