Ice Cream Shop

Chapter 66

I go to the other side of the building. I get out my phone and look through pictures of Brennen and me

I opened my phone and called Kat.

My eyes start watering so I turn my phone off.

When she doesn't answer I sigh and lean on the building.

I look over and see Sam leaning on the building. I stand up and walk over to him

"I'm sorry"

I look up at him

"No, I'm sorry. I shouldn't have said anything."

I shake my head

"No, you had every right to"

I look down.

"I'm sorry"

"Don't be"

"I should have told you earlier."

"How'd you find out?"

"I...Walked in..."

I bite my lip.

I bite my cheek.

"And you just forgave her?"

I shrug

"I couldn't live without her."

"How so?"

I looked down.

"She brought me out of a dark place and I just thought without her I would...Go back I guess."

I kiss his cheek.

I smile and start fidgeting with my hands.

"Let's go somewhere, where ever you want"

"Oh um..." I think for a minute.

"The ice cream shop?"

I smile a bit

"Sure"

I grab his hand and start walking to the car.

"I'm driving this time"

I roll my eyes

"Fine"

I get his keys and get in the driver's seat.

I sat in the passenger's seat and smiled.

I pull out and put my hand on his inner thigh.

I look up at him for a minute before looking away again.

I drive to the ice cream shop. We were almost there before a car goes in front of me sideways.

"Holy fuck"

I say and take my hand off Sam's inner thigh to stop the car.

My eyes widened and I grab onto the handle thing and my seatbelt.

Once I stop the car I take my hands off the wheel.

I lean my head back on the seat.

I look over at Sam

"Are you okay?"

"Yeah, you?"

"Yeah yeah"

I nod and close my eyes.

I look at the car and then the person inside, Kat.

I look over at the car. What the fuck?

I get out of the car. I go to her car and kick it

"What the hell Kat?!"

(Kat)

"I'm sorry!"

I sigh and see blood on her arm

"Holy fuck, are you okay?"

(Kat)

"It's just a scratch."        

"A scratch doesn't cause that much blood"

(Kat)

"I'm fine"

"Don't lie"

(Kat)

"It's nothing, Colby"

I roll my eyes a bit.

(Kat)

"Sorry, but I need to go."

I move away from her car and go back to Sam's.

(Kat)

"What she say?"

"Nothing"

I say and get in the car.

I nod and pull my phone out.

I sit there for a second before pulling out.

I start scrolling through Instagram.

I start driving to the Ice cream place again.

When we pull in I get out and stretch.

I stay in the car then turn the car off.

I look over at Colby and wait for him.

I get out after a second and go over to Sam.

I look over at him and smile.

I smile and kiss his cheek.

We walk inside and up to the counter.

He gets his order and I get mine.

I get out my wallet to pay.

I push his wallet down and get out money then hand it to the guy.

"Colby"

"Sam"

"You suck"

I smile

"I love you too baby"

I say and the worker working at the counter shot his head up and looked at Sam.

I look over at the worker

"Oh hey Charlie"
