(Charlie)
"Hey,"
I look over at Colby. Last time I checked Sam hated that guy, what the hell happened?
"Can I uhm talk to you?"
"Yeah, sure."
"I'll be in the car"
I tell Sam and he nods. I go to the car and scroll through my phone.
"What's up?"
(Charlie)
"What happened between the last few weeks and now?"
"What do you mean?"
(Charlie)
"Last time I talked to you you hated that guy, now he's calling you baby?"
I smile
"Yeah, a lot has happened I guess you could say"
(Charlie)
"Well fill me in"
I tell him everything while up sitting on a table with my feet on a chair.
(Charlie)
"Wow... So are you guys going to tell his fans?"
"I don't know. We haven't talked about it."
(Charlie)
"How long have you been with him?"
"A week or two"
(Charlie)
"Give it a month"
I whisper to myself but he hears.
"What do you mean by that?"
"Sam, you've never heard of Colby Brock, have you?"
"Not before I met him, why?"
(Charlie)
I sigh
"He's not a loyal boyfriend, and not a great one either"
I sigh
"I guess I kinda figured out the loyal part, but he's been great to me so far."
(Charlie)
"Sam, what has he done for you?"
"A lot."
(Charlie)
"Like what?"
"He took me to a place I had been wanting to go to since I moved here. He brought me here. He's taking me to Disney land"
(Charlie)
"But has he done anything to show you he actually loves you?"
"Well um.."
(Charlie)
"That's what I thought"
"What's it matter anyway? I'm happy"
(Charlie)
"He's not showing you he loves you! He's hasn't done anything! He's just thrown a shit ton of money at you!"
I look down.
"But I'm happy with him. Isn't that all that matters?"
(Charlie)
"I understand you're happy, but you have to think about those things Sam. if he hasn't shown you he loves you then maybe you shouldn't be with him"
I sigh
"I'll think about it."
(Charlie)
"I just want what's best for you"
"I know."
(Charlie)
"Just- Just promise me, if he doesn't show you he loves you in a week then drop him."
"Ok, I promise."
(Charlie)
I nod and he walks back to the car.
