Narrator: Kath woke up and started crying. The pain in her stomach was too much to bare for her. Marcus ran into the room and sat by her side.
Marcus: What's wrong baby?
Kath: My stomach...hurts.
Narrator: Kath threw up more blood and then Marcus picked her up and drove her to the hospital. Marcus was crying on the way to the hospital because he thought she was going to die.
Marcus: (thoughts) Why like this? She can't leave me yet. I love her. I can't lie without her. If she's going I'm going to.
Narrator: The doctors came to talk to Marcus.
Doctor: What did you do last night?
Marcus: We went out drinking and then Kath went home because she wasn't feeling good. I didn't think too much of it and now I think I should have. I'm so sorry.
Doctor: Nothing was your fault. You didn't know and that's okay. She just has some poisoning and she'll be fine.
Marcus: OMG Thank god!
Narrator: Marcus was finally able to see Kath again and he was crying.
Kath: Are you crying?
Marcus: Yes! I love you baby!
Kath: I love you too.
