Janet's POV

Well first period wasn't as bad as I thought it would be.

I actually made quite a few friends in Ms. Frasier's class.

I believe that's the class my twin sister had after me, but that doesn't really matter.

I walked into my second period which was Dr. Williams's math.

Math was my favorite subject, I was always an expert when it came to problem solving and whatnot.

I was pretty much stellar in everything, but there was something about Math that made it a lot more fun than the other subjects.

I sat at the very front of the room and waited for further instruction.

I must've been day dreaming or something because I hadn't noticed when a pretty, blonde kid sat next to me.

I quite was unnerved by it, but I tried paying very little mind to it.

The second bell rang and the door slammed shut, causing the whole class to jump out their seats.

The tall, thin, white man walked around the room in grimace.

I wasn't really bothered by his presence, until he had made eye contact with me.

I really sucked at eye contact, I could never look anyone in the eye, especially him.

His eyes seemed as if they held all kinds of resentment towards the kids.

For what though?

"Good morning, students." he said scornfully.

The class didn't reply.

"Let's get on with the lesson, shall we?" he grinned, his teeth almost as yellow as corn.

I could feel a much uncomfortable knot, forming in my stomach, almost making me want to throw up.

And I did...

I woke up lying on a mat, in the nurses office, nearly blinded by the ceiling lights.

"Are you okay?" a voice quizzed.

I gathered the strength to sit up and saw that blonde kid was sitting right at my foot.

"Hi" I hesitantly croaked.

I was really embarrassed when I said that.

"Oh c'mon Janet, out of all words, all you can manage to say is hi? what the hell is wrong with you?" my conscience spoke.

The kid didn't seem phased by it all with his mini giggling fit.

"Dr. Williams isn't really the best looking guy heh?" he whispered.

"Are you kidding me, the dude is haunting, I might have mom make the school switch my classes later."

"Just put on a blindfold or something." the boy retorted.

I rolled my eyes at his comment.

"Sorry, I guess I'm not the best comedian either."

"You're alright." I chuckled.

The boy looked down and kicked at the floor.

Now I felt bad for reacting in such a manner.

"My name's Janet."

"Roger." he mumbled.

"So how do you do Roger?" I asked.

From then on, we just sat there in the nurses office conversing.

It was quite fascinating, he told me he was in a band, and that I could swing by to watch them rehearse sometime.

I was quite apprehensive though, it's not like me to take chances into doing these type of things.

I wonder if Rihanna would be interested, considering she has a bit of a soft spot for music, but we'll see.
