Izuku's POV~
My mom left soon after the conversation ended. She told me to back a suitcase and box up anything else I want shipped. After she left I went down to the commons to find my mates. I found them pacing around the room, annoying most of the other students. When they heard the elevator door open the looked over and rushed to me. They pulled my in between them. "What happened? You're mom just went through here, she didn't say anything but she was crying." Kami said. I nodded in understanding.
"Are you staying?" Kiri asked. He looked so worried, I didn't have the heart to tell him the truth.
"It's not decided yet. She's going to think about it for a few more days." I lied. Their faces filled with hope. Oh no. What am I gonna do now?
"I'm gonna clean up my room a little bit but then I really want to hang out with you guys. I need bonding time." I joked. They lightly laughed.
"Why are you cleaning?" Kami asked suspiciously. Oh no, abort!
"Oh, um... my mom yelled at me for keeping my room so messy. She told me she wanted to clean or she'd definitely pull me, so..." I can't believe I just keep lying to them. I should just tell them the truth.
"Oh okay. Do you want some help then?" Kiri asked while Kami nodded in agreement. I shook my head, telling them to enjoy their night and I'd see them in an hour or so. I'm actually going to pack, they can't help or they'd figure it out. We said a quick goodbye and I went up to my room and started to shove things in the boxes that were still in my room from moving in. I've only been here for what, two maybe three weeks? And I'm already leaving.
Once I finished packing up the stuff I wanted to take with me, which wasn't to much, I wanted to leave some of it here for my mates and friends, I texted my mates to meet me on the roof. I made my way to Kiri's room. I walked in and over to the window and saw them already sitting on the roof, looking at the stars.
They turned their heads when they heard me land on the roof. Kiri stood up, walked over to me and picked me up, spinning me around. I giggle at him, holding on tightly to his shoulders. When he set me down, he placed a gentle kiss on my forehead, causing my to lightly blush.
"Alright, my turn." I heard Kami say from his spot on the ground. He grabbed my wrist and pulled me down onto his lap, this time causing me to turn a deep red. He hugged me to his chest, running his nose lightly over my nec before just resting his head on my shoulder.
We were facing Kiri, so Kami had the bright idea of sticking his tongue out at our other mate. "Izuuuu," Kiri whined, "He's sticking his tongue at me. This isn't fair!" What a child.
"Life isn't fair!" Kami said playfully, sticking his tongue back out. They're both children.
We spent most of the night sitting on the roof, laughing, talking, and just watching the stars, just like the first time. So much has happened since then it's hard to believe how short of a time it's really been. At around one in the morning I let out a loud yawn, which they teased me for, and then we all decided to go to bed. I was way too lazy to walk back to my room, and I just really wanted to snuggle my mates before I left, so we all just piled into Kiri's bed and passed out.
Kami's POV~
I woke up really early because a certain little green ball of fluffy was trying to stealthily get out of the bed, and failing miserably. "Izu, what're you doing?" I groggily asked him. The sun was barely up, it was way too early for this.
"Oh um, I'm just going to the bathroom. Go back to bed, I'll be right back." He said. I sleepily nodded and rolled back over, snuggling back up to Ejiro.
I woke up again a few hours later. Eijiro was frantically shaking me. "Wha~ I'm up! Jesus, what's wrong?" I asked him. He was holding a note and he looked close to tears. "Hey, babe what's wrong?" I pushed. I looked and realized Izuku wasn't there.
"He lied. He's gone." He whispered. I felt my heart dropped when he handed me the tear stained note. Seeing as Eiji hasn't actually shed any yet, I assume they're Izu's.
Good morning...
I'm so so sorry. I wanted to tell you, but I just couldn't. I couldn't be there when you realized I was gone, it'd be to painful. I wanted our last night to be happy. Besides, it's not like it's forever. We can still visit and as soon as I turn eighteen, I'm moving right back home. I pinky promise.
Please tell everyone where I am and who I'm with. Tell them they can still text and call me anytime they want, starting tomorrow. I'll be on a flight all day so I won't be able to respond. I left some of my things in my dorm. You guys can all go through it and take what you want. I left some of my blankets specifically for you guys, they have my scent on them, that way you won't forget about me. I left my All Might action figures for Kacchan, those are only for him, sorry.
Just... take care of each other.
I love you two.
~Izuku
The next half an hour was spent spamming him with text messages. The most frequent just being that we loved him and to call us as soon as he landed. We cried a little, but eventually pulled ourselves together enough to go down to the commons and tell everyone.
"What'd you mean he's gone?!" Bakugou yelled as soon as the words left Enjiro's mouth. Todoroki held onto him so he could lunge for us.
"Just that. His mom was here last night and said they were moving. They talk in private and Izuku told us that nothing was decided, but he lied. He left early this morning." I explained not looking up from the floor. We'd finally figured everything out, we were finally happy, and now he's gone.
"Well where the fuck did he go?" He yelled again.
"To America, to live with his dad or something." My mate said.
Bakugou's face paled and his body froze. Everyone in the class was gathered to hear about Izuku and were all now staring at the blonde. "Are you fucking serious?" He asked softly.
"Yeah... why?" I asked slightly scared. I've never seen him like this. It was unnerving to say the least.
"You're fucking idiots! You should have told me last night! I could have fucking stopped him." He was pacing and running his hand through his hair.
"Babe, what wrong? What's so bad about America?" Todoroki asked his distressed mate.
"It's not fucking America that's the problem. It's his bastard of a dad." He said starting to pull at his hair. "God how could I let this happen. I said I was gonna keep him safe, I fucking promised and now he's gone. Not that he'd fuckng remember that promise, but I do."
"Bro seriously, you need to tell us what's wrong. He's our mate!" Eiji said.
"The last time Izuku saw his father, the bastard damn near killed him!"
