Rainy Days {Sequel to Stormy Nights} (Gwuncan)

Chapter 1: It's a Miracle...Or Is It

The Past Three Months....

No One's POV
The past three months has been tough for everyone, as Gwen's still on her coma, Duncan's grieving turned to anger and got him back into juvie, Bridgette's falling into depression, everyone's still asking why did she do it, Valentine's starting to piece together the story, and more.

Duncan was put back into juvie after skipping school, trespassing, and staying out past curfew, but that was all apart of his plan so he could get back at Trent. Since he's been back Duncan has beaten Trent up about four times in the past three months. As everyone is aware of their past and what has happened to Gwen they just turn their heads...even some guards do.

Bridgette, she hasn't left her room unless to visit Gwen. No one blames her as she's depressed and she just lost her best friend. She visits Gwen every other day by eating next to her bed and talking to her sleeping body. Bridgette a few times has run into Russo's, the Nelson's, and the Barlow's, when she offend visits there.

Valentine...with him only being home for about a week and then seeing his little sister being carried down a flight of stairs, remains hunting him as he feels he could of done something to stop her. He wishes he didn't just awkwardly hug Gwen back that night...he wishes he would of gone up to that room and waited for Duncan with her.

The Russo family hasn't taken any of this well. Alec offend spends nights drinking to the lost of his only daughter and favorite child, Mary even though didn't care for Gwen the most has been deeply hurt by her actions, and all of Gwen's brothers all are very much affected by what Gwen as done.

The Nelson family has Duncan his own way of grief, but the rest of them spend days and nights in the hospital awaiting the day for Gwen to wake up, even going the extra mile to help the hospital out with her. When the Nelson family isn't the hospital or asleep they are usually the Russo's helping them.

The Summers family very helpful towards the hospital along side of the Nelson family...just wishing Gwen would wake up. They offend check on the Russo's to see if everyone's okay, but sadly things aren't the greatest.

A Hot Clear mid-July Summer Day

Duncan's POV
I woke up to the juvie alarm that went off and I groaned and sat up and got dressed. I looked over at Mike and he looked at me. "You okay?" He asked and I sighed and shook my head. The two of us walked out of the bunk and I walked towards the food cart, and walked over to our usual table. I saw the guard walk by and he walked over to us. "Any news?" I asked and he sighed. "No everything's still the same." Officer Thomas said and I sighed out my head down, I know I can't see her, I just wanted to know she wasn't...dead.

Bridgette's POV
I was sitting in Gwen's room, as I was sitting eating break fast next to her. Valentine was on her otherwise and looking at her scars and then looked at me. "So, you getting any better?" He asked and I just pushed my food around. I wasn't in the mood to talk. He sighed and I looked at him. I knew his life back at home wasn't the best, and that I should try and talk to him, so I sighed.

"No" I said and he looked at me. "I honestly wasn't expecting you to answer me." He said and I looked at him. "I felt bad, things can't be good at home." I said and he shrugged. "They aren't, no one talks...it may not seem like it on the outside, but Gwen was the glue that held the family together." He said touching her cheek with his finger and moving her hair. I crossed my arms and looked at her. "We need to find out why she did this." He said and I looked up. "How?" I asked and he looked at me and grabbed her hand. "We try to find out what was going on." He said and I nodded. He kissed her hand, and then looked at me. "It was a cry for help." He said and I looked at him.
