Akira's POV:
"Akira get off your laptop and come downstairs to eat roti. Sara din tu eh they te behti reni a!" (you sit on it on it all day.) My mom called me.
"Just 5 more minutes!" I called back. I sighed 'Mr. Raj I'll be back in a bit' I paused my movie and headed downstairs. I loved my mom but she just didn't understand my love of Bollywood, my parent's both thought that I shouldn't spend so much time watching movies but should focus more on studying but... who can study when SRK is there.
"What do you want roti with?" She asked when I came downstairs.
"Kuch bhi meri jaan!" (Anything my life) I said hugging her. She laughed, "Acha? (Really), go sit down."
"Yes, sir!" I sat down at the table, my sister, Ameera, looked up at me and smirked then looked down at her iPod again.
Ameera was always very calm whereas I got excited about everything, she never became overly attached or passionate about anything and I always did.
"Didi, where you watching movies again?" Ram, my little brother asked me.
"What else would I be doing?"
He laughed.
My brother was ten and my sister was fourteen, both of them were the most important people to me. Ameera and I were very close, we knew just about everything about each other. Ram was the baby of the family, all of us loved to spoil him and I had almost mother-like protection over him.
Now, who am I? Well, my name is Akira Gill, I'm sixteen in grade eleven, I am Punjabi; so obviously I have the black hair and almost black eyes. If I don't know you, I'm super shy, but as soon as I get to know you, I'm loud and talk way too much. In case you haven't already guessed my one true love is Bollywood.
I was in love with the idea of the forever kind of love, yes I know you're probably thinking that that kind of love only happens in movies but I think differently. I always wanted my own perfect love story, I have never had a boyfriend or anything (my parents would have killed me), but even if I was allowed, I wouldn't want one just yet because I'm looking for the one and only Mr.Right.
Rajveer's POV:
"GOAL!"
"WOAH!" I shouted triumphantly and circled back to my team who enveloped me in a giant group hug.
"Congratulations to the Holmes Chapel Comprehensive school team on winning tonight's game! Which means they will be moving to nationals!" The announcer shouted into his mike and we cheered louder.
It felt good to win!
"And our MVP of the game is... Rajveer Kapoor! C'mon up here my boy!" I pulled away from my team and walked over to the announcer who handed me our trophy.
"Good work out there." My couch congratulated, clapping me on the back. I grinned and held up our trophy and the crowd roared with happiness.
"Hey, Raj great goal! The team's expecting a party tonight!" Arnav laughed coming up to me. Arnav and I had been friends since pre-k.
"Fine, tell them to come to my place."
"Awesome!" he turned, "Everyone, party at Raj's tonight!"
After taking a quick shower I drove home with Arnav, "That was a sick game!" he buzzed.
"Yeah, can't believe we're going to nationals!"
"Yeah, you know what I can't believe- that we're in our final year. Soon we'll be off to uni!"
"Hmm. I hadn't really thought about that much" I lived for the day;
"Ha, of course, you haven't, your older brother will definitely get you into the best college out there," he smirked and I hit him. My older brother was a huge business tycoon with plenty of his own companies; because of him our family was very rich- and Arnav loved to poke fun at that.
"Whatever dude- let's go enjoy a party." I laughed.
