Akira's POV:
"Pass the ball!" I yelled, " Pass it to Sarah!" The kindergarteners ran around chasing the ball. I was volunteering at a daycare and had brought the kids out to play. I loved spending time with them.
"Akira!" They cried.
"Yeah?" I called back.
"Our ball, it went over that fence!" Zach, a cute little blonde haired boy, said coming over to me and pointing at the fence that was bordering a private area.
"Oh, it's okay, I'll buy you a new one!"
"No, that one is my favorite, can you please get it for me?" He pleaded. Aww, he looks so cute, I guess I could go over the fence just to get the ball.
"Okay, you guys wait here, I'll be right back!"I walked around the fence till I found an opening, it had been broken away, I crawled through it. What am I doing, this is illegal! I mentally scolded myself as I crawled through. Oh well, what will they do?
It's just a giant open field, I thought standing up, why was it fenced off?
I started searching for the ball and I finally saw it. I ran towards it and just as I picked it up, a giant blue tarp fell over me.
"What the..." I panicked, I couldn't see anything. Oh no! I knew I shouldn't have done this! Dumbo, now you're going to be arrested! Obviously, I jumped to conclusions.
I started to walk forwards when I ran into someone. "S-sorry I swear I was just-!" I stuttered, hoping it wasn't the police.
I slowly looked up and froze, I was staring into two striking cobalt blue eyes. They were the most beautiful color I had ever seen.
"What..." Was all he said when suddenly, someone hit him from behind and he fell, knocking me down in the process. We fell into the grass, he landed on top of me.
We stared at each other for I don't even know how long before someone pulled the tarp off of us. Then suddenly, as if getting up from a dream he stood up and offered me his hand, I took it and he pulled me up. Woah.
Before I could say anything, someone yelled.
"Loser!" It was another guy and he was wearing a blue and yellow jumpsuit and holding a little red flag.
Judging by their outfits they must have been skydiving. And he must have been the one that ran into him. Skydiving? Wow so cool!
"No, I had an interference!" The guy standing next to me answered; gesturing at me. I turned back to look at him and realized that he was... perfect.
He had an aristocratic nose, a chiseled jaw and black hair that was perfectly set even though he had just jumped out of the plane, pfft. But it was his eyes that captured me the most, just like before. I averted my gaze before I could start staring. I had a bad habit of doing that.
"I'm sorry..." I began but he interrupted me before I could continue.
"What are you doing here?"
"I..." But he didn't let me answer.
"This is private property and you're trespassing," he continued angrily, "You messed me up!"
His tone got me mad, he didn't even let me answer and was snapping at me for no reason! It wasn't like I did it on purpose!
"Hey, hold on a second. I didn't mean to mess up your game, I just came here to get this ball." I retorted picking it up from the ground.
"I am sorry if I caused you any inconvenience." I continued, I was about to turn around when I realized that the parachute's wire was caught around my leg. He seemed to realize it too and he tugged the wire as if to free me but instead the force of it made me run into him.
