When I got to my room, I got changed into normal clothes instead of workout clothes. After changing I went over to my desk to write some new songs, I sit writing some for about 15 minutes before somebody knocked on the door. I got up to open the door and outside I saw Jay and Carlos standing
"Hey guys, what are you doing here?" I ask
"We just finished practice and thought we'd see what you were doing, it was Carlos' idea" Jay says while Carlos is smiling awkwardly
"Oh cool, I'm not really doing much. Just you know writing songs like always" I say opening the door wider so the guys and walk in
"Why do you write songs?" Jay asks
"I like to express myself through music, it helps me a lot" I say
"You should totally perform some of them at family day! Ben told us that he's performing a song and would love for others to do the same" Carlos says sitting on my bed
"I don't know, they're not that good" I say looking through my song lyrics
"Are you kidding me? The songs I have heard are amazing and not to mention that Mal never shuts up about how talented you are when it comes to music" Carlos says encouraging me
"Yeah come on show Auradon what the VKs can do" Jay says
"Fine, I'll talk to Ben about it" I says and the boys give me a hug
"That's my girl, now can we hear one?" Carlos asks
"Well I just finished one so why not"

"So what did you think?" I ask
"I think Auradon is going to fall in love with you" Jay says
"It was amazing Maddie" Carlos says
"Thanks guys it means a lot, oh no we're late for class" I says before we run out of my room to get to the last class of the day.
