"Harry sit next to me."
He smiled at his little brother's excitement at having him around and obliged him. Harry then stared at his family sited around him. His twin sat across from him, to his left was Charlie, to Charlie's left was their mother, Lily; and to Harry's right was their father, James.
"I'm so glad you could join us Harry. How was your school year so far?"
"It has been fine mother. My N.E.W.T.'s are going to be a breeze and I will likely finish first. Much to Grangers horror I predict."
Lily smiled at that "You can't possibly know that Harry. For all you..."
"Hadrian, mother! You named me Hadrian, you might as well use it." Harry imagined that Lily must have been quite put off if her facial expression was to be believed.
"Why do you let those snakes call you Harry but we, your family, are forced to call you Hadrian?"
"It's quite simple Nathaniel. I like my friends and I don't like you." Harry put his arms around his brother and said, "Though Charlie is different, He's my favourite little monster."
"Grrr!" He laughed at that.
"And I'm your twin! We are supposed to be close but you don't seem to want to try?"
"How am I to blame for not trying? If anything, we are both to blame. You didn't want to associate with a Slytherin and I don't want to be around your ego."
"What's that supposed to..."
"I think we should dig into our food, don't you James?"
"Yes... Tilly!"
The little house-elf immediately appeared in a pop next to James, "You called, Master James?"
"Could you please serve our lunch Tilly?"
"Yes sir" The elf snapped her fingers.
The cutlery appeared out of nowhere and floated onto the table, setting itself and the food appeared in the middle of the table. Once she was done, the elf then left.
"Let's dig in then!"
After a few minutes of silence while eating James asked, "So Harry, care to explain what you were actually going to do if I didn't find you at King's Cross?"
Harry's eye twitched at his father's slight "I had plans with my friends. Simple as that"
"He was planning on staying with one of them no doubt. Probably with Malfoy!"
"Did he ask you Nathaniel? No, he didn't."
"Why didn't you ask your mother and I before agreeing to go with them?"
"I have never asked for your permission for four years. Why would I start now?"
"We are your parents Hadrian; we need to know where you are at all times. What if something happened? For all you know, Lucius Malfoy might have killed you or given you up to his master for all we know!"
"I trust Lord Malfoy far more than I trust you, mother. I know he would never betray me. Though beside the point, why do you believe that he would give me to Voldemort?"
