Eunice's PoV

"Ma, i'm leaving.."  paalam ko kay mama saka ko kinuha ang bag ko bago umalis.

40 days na simula nang mamatay si papa, up until now di padin kami maka move on.

Haist. I miss him.

*Pipiiiiiip*

Nakanguso kong tinignan ang isang kotse na paparada sa harapan ko.

"Ms. Montemayor?" Sabi ng isang men in black-- i mean, kasi naka suot sya ng black suit at shades na itim na parang si Will Smith.

Oh yes, Will Smith kasi black din kasi sya so yes..

"Bakit po sir?"

"Please get in"

Napataas ang kilay ko "and why would i do that?"

"It's about your father's death."

Agad akong sumeryoso bago ako pumasok sa passenger seat "continue?"

Nagdrive muna sya bago sumagot "he died in a mission." Nagtataka  akong napatingin sa kanya "he is an undercover agent or a spy perhaps." Gusto kong matawa sa sinabi nya "don't laugh at me. It is true.. you see that folder, infront of you? That is your father's assignment for the past decades."

Kinakabahan akong kinuha ang folder saka ko ito binuklat.. "b-but h-how come na hindi namin alam?"

"It is confidential. And besides, you father is already an agent before he married your mother." Tinignan nya ako sa salamin "and read everything there."

"Akala ko ba confidential, bakit ko to babasahin?"

Huminto sya sa tapat ng isang malaking building "because your father, enrico, signed an agreement. At page 94 of that folder." Agad ko naman itong hinanap "that of he died in the middle of a mission, his daughter, Eunice Faith Morales Montemayor, will continue it and replace his position as our top secret agent."

Napanganga ako sa sobrang gulat! "W-whoa whoa! Bakit ako? Bakit hindi si kuya?!"

"So you don't know?" Napatingin ako sa kanya nang may halong pagtataka "your brother has a terminal illness, kaya lagi syang nasa hospital. He is not as strong, as you think of him."

"Wow.."

"And your father chooses you, before your even speak a word. That's why the next pages will be your father's update about you and abput your health." Agad ko itobg tinignan at talagang nakakagulat naman talaga!

"Kaya pala buwan-buwan kaming nasa hospital?"

Tumango sya "that is apart of your preperation and your extra curricular activities? They are also suggested by the agency nagkataon lang na gusto mo din ang mga yun."

Napanguso ako ng maalala ang mga extra curricular activieties na araw-araw kong inaattend-nan. All of those are for physical improvement.

"You are really your father's daughter. Kahit ng bata kapa. That's why tuwang tuwa ang mga head sayo. They like you.. a lot."

Napatango ako ng dahan-dahan habang binabasa ko ang mga sulat ni papa, kalakip ng medical record ko at picture.

Namimiss ko tuloy lalo si papa-

"Your father, died in the middle of the night after he finds out the exact location of the main lab.. tumatawag sya nun kay Fidel para sa update, agad na inalert ni Fidel ang lahat. Nasa loob sya ng lab at ipinapakita sa amin ang lahat hanggang sa bigla nalang syang bumagsak. Telling us to protect his family..." Akala ko, wala na akong iluluha pa.. pero sobrang sobrang sakit parin pala!
