The Days To Come

chp. 31

Cali's Pov:

My teacher handed me a piece of paper that sadly was my homework. I added it to the folder that held the rest of my homework. The bell soon rang, and I put my textbook away, before leaving to go to my science class. It was lab day, so I pulled my hair back into a ponytail, before putting my cardigan into my backpack. I took my safety goggles out of the front pocket of my backpack, putting them on, since we were using chemicals today. My teacher handed us a paper that had our directions on it, before letting us begin the lab.

*5 days later* (Oct 19)

Morgan's Pov:

I walked out of my history 101 class, heading across campus to my math 101 class. Once I got there, I took out my textbook and notebook, since I already knew that we were taking notes. I opened the front pocket of my bag, taking out a blue mechanical pencil. I set it on top of my notebook, waiting for the rest of my class to show up. When most of them showed up, I opened my notebook up to a blank sheet since we were starting a new chapter. I labeled the paper with the chapter and it's title, following along with the powerpoint we had to take notes on first.

*an hour later*

Finally, all of my classes were over for the day. I walked back to my apartment, unlocking the door, letting myself in. The floor was sparkling clean, meaning Brynn had cleaned while I was gone. I quietly took off my shoes, setting them onto the rug next to our door. I walked towards the living room, finding Brynn asleep on the couch. I gently took the blanket off of the other couch, unfolding it, before putting it on top of her. I took my backpack into my room, quietly shutting the door behind me. I sat at my desk, unpacking my backpack so that I could do my homework.

Nathan's Pov:

I walked into school, heading to my locker to get my binders. I pulled out my math and English binders, shutting my locker door. I walked to my English class, sitting down at my desk. I took out my essay that was due today. I stapled my papers together, placing it back onto my desk. Mrs. Harder passed out our homework for tonight, so we could work on it while she starts grading our essays. I took my favorite green mechanical pencil out of my bag, starting my homework. For homework, we were annotating the first chapter of Harry Potter. I grabbed my pencil case out of my backpack, taking out all of my highlighters, making a key on the top of the paper.

Oceane's Pov:

I stood in my small cubbie, wiping down everything. At work, we were finally getting laptops to replace the desktops that we had. The tech guy had just taken my desktop, and the top of my desk was just a mess. I moved all of my things that were on top of my desk onto the floor, before opening up my bottle of Clorox wipes. I took one out, closing the lid, before wiping down my dusty desk. I placed my file organizer back in the corner of my cubbie, putting my writing supply organizer in the other corner. I was very minimalist, so I didn't have a lot on my desk. I placed my meeting notebook on top of the organizer. Mr. Dolan came around, handing out our macbooks. He also had gotten us custom sleeves for them. He handed me the box that my macbook was in as well as the sleeve,b efore leaving to go to the next cubbie. I set the box onto my desk, taking my sleeve out of the bag it was in. My sleeve was personally a floral design that had my name stitched in blue. I then opened up the box, taking out my rose gold macbook pro. I set it on top of my desk, before going into my bag to find my flashdrive so I could work on my report.

*the next day* (Oct 20)

Sage's Pov:

I walked into the mechanic shop, clocking in, taking my lunch to the locker room. I put the bag that had my lunch into my locker, before going into the main shop. I slid under one of the trucks that's been here since last night, looking underneath it to see what the problem was. Cameron came in, changing the tires on the car next to the one I was working on.

Sailor's Pov:

I was currently sitting at my desk, typing up invitations for our Halloween banquet. I printed them out, cutting them, before going to Grayson's office. I knocked on the door, hearing him yell come in. I opened the door, walking in, shutting the door behind me,. I placed the stack on invitations in front of him, having him sign them and put everyone's names on them. After he got done, i took them to everybody's mailbox, placing them inside. I checked my mailbox, taking everything to my desk. I sat back down at my desk, going through the schedule to see what meetings my husband has today.

Savannah's Pov:

I sat in the agriculture building that I work in. I was currently in the lab, looking at dirt samples. I recorded the data into my work computer, before I put the samples back into the cabinet, where we were keeping them. I then, left the room to go write the data down on the lab papers.
