*4 weeks and 1 day later* (Oct 10)

Lauren's Pov:

Mandi who was our Miss California Outstanding Teen 2027 was having a small party for Halloween which is in a couple of weeks. I stood in my hotel room, changing into a maroon floral top and shorts set. I had a hotel room, because I had to drive from Sacramento down to Los Angeles, which is about a 6 hour trip, 12 to and from. I put on my Miss Sacramento County 2026 sash and crown, before grabbing my wallet, keys, and room card. Luckily, we didn't have to wear costumes, Mandi told us that we just have to wear a nice outfit. I walked out to my 2019 Jeep Cherokee Latitude Plus, getting in, driving to the bookstore where Mandi was having it.

I walked into the bookshop, getting met by Mandi and her boyfriend Henry. She handed me a tiny itinerary, which had everything from the dinner we were going to have to speeches. Henry then led me to the room in the back, where I met up with Natalie whose from Calaveras county and Cali from Pasadena county. When all of us were finally here, Mandi and Henry came into the huge room. Mandi was now wearing a long red dress and Henry was wearing a suit. Natalie, Cali, and I sat down at a table, as they walked to the front table.

"Good evening, everyone. I would like to thank everybody for coming to the Halloween party. I am the Miss California Outstanding Teen 2027. A little bit about myself is that I was born in the state of Wisconsin on April 21 of 2009. I moved to the state of California with my mom in 2012. My platform is Fighting for Breast Cancer. And I hope to have a great year. Before we start dinner, I am going to let my boyfriend Henry do a speech," she said, before sitting down in her chair.

"Good evening ladies as well as other quests. My name is Henry Keyes and I am the boyfriend of Mandi. I'd like to thank you all for coming and joining us at my parents bookstore for this party. I hope that each and every single one of you have a great year serving for the state of California. Thank you," he said, before sitting down.

A couple of minutes later, we were able to eat. On the menu, they had different salads, meats, as well as vegetables.

*a day later* (Oct 11)
Lilac's Pov:
I stood in my bathroom, changing into a black sports bra and grey leggings, since I was going to the gym by myself, since Teagan was out of town. I threw my hair up into a high ponytail, grabbing my gym bag off of the kitchen floor, grabbing my wallet and keys before leaving. I got into my car, driving across campus to the wellness center. I took my water bottle and headphones out of my gym bag, getting out of my car, walking into the building. I walked up the 2nd floor, which is where all of the workout equipment is. Today, was cardio day which was definitely not my favorite. My cardio routine was always planks, squats, pushups, crunches, and then 30 minutes or so on the elliptical. I took my AirPods out of their case, putting them in, before turning on my music, starting my workout.

LilyKate's pov:
Aly and I were currently in London while Daenielle was back home at school. We were currently touring the city with one of our cousins who actually went here for college. We stopped in front of Big Ben, having her take our pictures so that when we went back to California, we could print them out. We walked around town for about 2 more hours, before we went to go get food before returning to the hotel.

Liv's pov:
I walked around my kitchen, scrubbing down the counters. I then replaced everything that was on the counter before I scrubbed it. I went to the closet where I kept cleaning supplies, grabbing my swiffer so I could clean my floor.

Logan's pov:
I picked Katherine up out of her crib, changing her diaper, before putting her into a maroon onesie with maroon leggings. I was taking her to work with me at the aquarium. I grabbed her diaper bag, my wallet and keys, heading out to my car with her in my arms. I opened up the back door, placing Katherine into her car seat. I got into the front seat, turning on my car, before driving to work.

Luna's pov:
I sat in the kitchen of my house, helping Aria work on her science project that's due on Wednesday. I cut out pieces of colored paper as well as plain white printer paper. I glued the white paper on top of the colored paper, gluing them onto the board. I labeled the papers with a sharpie, labeling the 3 on the left: question, research, and hypothesis. I then labeled the 3 on the right: data, conclusion, and final report. Aria was sitting across the table from me, making bath bombs for her project. She made 2 of each, making regular, jelly, and smaller ones.

*3 days later* (oct 14)
Mandi's pov:
Today at school, we were having a pep rally to recognize our clubs and organizations as well as sports. I was currently wearing a maroon floral off-the-shoulder top with blue jeans and my maroon cardigan since it was a bit cold outside. The school was actually going to introduce me as the states outstanding teen so I had to look nice. I curled my hair, putting on a maroon headband to match my top and cardigan. My mom came into my room, helping me put on my sash as I finished up my makeup, before putting my crown on. I heard a car pull into the driveway, and I quickly put on my shoes, before grabbing my bag, going outside. I walked down the porch, getting into Henry's Jeep.

*2 hours later*
"Good morning, everybody. Welcome to the first pep rally of the year. I'd like to thank everybody who is here for coming. Before I start introducing the clubs and organizations, I'd like to have the honors of introducing you to our very own Mandi Genord, who is your Miss California Outstanding Teen 2027," the principal said, as everyone stood up and clapped.

I walked out to the middle of the gym, waving to everyone who was in the stands. My principal handed me the microphone so that I could do a speech.

"Good morning fellow classmates and faculty. I am Mandi Genord, your fellow Miss California Outstanding Teen for 2027. I am very excited to be serving the state this year and I hope to eventually be Miss California. I look forward to work with some of you on events and many other things. I hope everyone is having a good year and hope it stays great. Thank you," I said, before handing the mic back to my principal, before sitting down with Henry.
