I slowly trudged to school, annoyed that I couldn't just lay in bed watching anime and playing video games all day like I had been doing all summer. I walked into the class room and sat down in my seat. Pulling out a manga I had been reading, I became totally oblivious to the world I was truly in and was absorbed in the one I wish I was.

"Hellooooo?????"

My head popped up and turned to my right. I was surprised when I saw a rather frustrated male standing there.

"Uhm..." I started quietly. "Hi?"

The boy flashed a quick smile at me. "Can I sit next to you?"

Before I could even nod, he plopped himself in the chair next to me.

"All right, I guess I'll be going then..." A deep voice said from behind the boy who just sat next to you.

Your seatmate ~ (A/N): Is that a thing? xD ~ perked up. "Oh, thanks (C/N)!"

The older guy just stuffed his hands in his pockets and grunted a response while he walked out of the classroom.

Curiosity was eating me inside. "W-Who was that?"

"Oh that's my older bro, (C/N)." The boy held out his hand. "I'm (C/S/N)."

I blinked. "U-Uh... I'm (Y/N)."

I shook (C/S/N)'s hand and gave him a weak smile.

~Time Skip brought to you by Walmart. "Save Money. Live Better."~

I walked out of school with (C/S/N) by my side. "C'mon, (Y/N). I'll introduce you to my brother. Then, we can all walk home together."

During lunch, (C/S/N) and I had sat next to each other and talked about things we liked to do. Then we found out we only lived two houses apart.

"(C/N)!" (C/S/N) yelled, grabbing my hand.

Still holding my hand, he ran towards his brother, dragging me after him.

"(C/N), I want you to meet (Y/N). She only lives two houses away from us, so we're all gonna walk home together!"

(C/N) looked me up and down and grunted again. "Whatever..." He sighed.

I have to admit I was a little hurt by this, but I brushed it off.

We just met today, and he does sound a little shy... He'll come around eventually.

Or so I hoped.

~ Another Time Skip brought to you by bunnies eating the grass in my front yard. ~

(C/S/N) lead me up the stairs to his house. "C'mon, let's go, (Y/N)!"

It was (C/S/N)'s idea to invite me into his house after we walked home from school.

He opened the door and yelled, "We're home!!!"

I shyly wiggled my way through the doorway, feeling awkward. But then again, I always feel awkward... ~ Hmm. Sounds familiarrr ~

To my disappointment, (C/N) immediately went up the stairs to his room, leaving me with (C/S/N) and his parents.

"Hey mom, this is (Y/N). We're in the same classes at school!"

I nodded a greeting at (C/S/N)'s mom before following him up the stairs to hang out in his room.

"This is it. Take a seat."

I spied a really comfy looking bean bag chair in the corner. ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) I Naruto-ran over to it and threw myself on it, sinking down until I was hardly visible.

(C/S/N) started laughing and I grumbled and moaned at the effort it took to get out of the bean bag's strong grip. Eventually I sat, victorious, on top of the bean bag.

"Hey, (Y/N), ya wanna hear a funny story?" (C/S/N) asked.

"Of course!!!" I yelled. I didn't yell it super loud, but it was more than my regular speech levels.

"So there was this one time when (C/N) and I were in grade school and a girl asked to meet him behind the building. He had a massive crush on her, which I told her about making all of this happen, so he was blushing really hard when she asked. But anyway, he ended up being too shy to show up, so (R/N) waited behind the school for two hours in the rain!"

I started laughing. Sure, I felt a little bad to be laughing at (C/N)'s story that involved him getting slapped in the face, but (C/S/N) assured me it's fine.

While we were doubled over in laughter, the door flew open and in stormed a very upset (C/N).

My eyes widened as I saw how much rage was on his face as he glowered at his younger brother.

(C/N) grabbed his brother by the collar and dragged him out of the room. I could faintly hear (C/N) yelling at (C/S/N) for telling me that story. I didn't understand what his problem was. It sounded like a hysterical story, whether he liked it or not.

"I can't believe you brought that up again! How could you do that?!"

I stood in the doorway to (C/S/N)'s room, listening to (C/N) yell at his younger brother.

Unexpectedly, the door opened and (C/N) marched out, tears forming in his eyes. When he noticed me standing there staring at him, he gazed at my (E/C) eyes. "Baka..." He muttered before stomping into his own room and slamming the door.

(C/S/N) walked out of the room where he was previously being scolded, looking at me with wide eyes.

"I didn't know (C/N) was still upset about that..." He whispered.

I looked towards (C/N)'s room in pity.

(C/S/N) noticed this and put a hand on my shoulder. "C'mon... You should probably get home."
