I sat there shaking and coughing, my glossy eyes reflecting the bright orange glow from the flaming tongues of fire that were closing in around me. I backed up, pressing against the window while my tiny fingers tried to figure out how to open it. Falling to the floor, I continued to cough as the smoke clouded around me. Suddenly, I heard the sound of glass breaking. I struggled to keep my eyes open to see what was going on, but as I felt the ground vanishing from underneath me, I succumbed to the weariness that my body felt.

As I opened my eyes, I noticed there was no fire around me, no smoke. Cool wind was blowing through my (H/L), (H/C) hair and I heard a slight woosh-ing. ~woosh-ing... I dunno~ Looking up, I saw a man's face.

"W-Who are you?" I whispered shyly.

The man glanced at me before looking up again. "Your savior."

I didn't know what that meant at the time, but twelve years later, I know what it means. It means I'm his slave.

~Le time skip~

"(Y/N)!!!!!!" He yelled at me.

"Coming!!"

I ran up the stairs, trying desperately not to fall on my face and roll all the way down again.

Upon reaching the top of the massive staircase, I was out of breath. Those damn staircases. You'd think with how rich he was he could put in an elevator... I thought about how lovely an elevator would be in this massive house.

I knocked before opening the door. "You called for me, Sir?"

"Duh I did that's why you're here." I sighed with impatience. "Look at this."

He beckoned me over and I looked at his finger. "Uhh... Do you need a band-aid for some microscopic injury you have apparently acquired, Sir?"

He hit me on the back of the head. "You fool! Look closer! Look at the dust!"

"The... dust--"

"The DUSTT!!!!!!" He yelled at me. "I was growing very suspicious of this table here," he said while pointing at the table right next to us. "So I rubbed my finger on it and AH-A! My suspicions were correct! DUST!!!"

I rolled my eyes. "It's. A. Speck. Of dust. I can't even see it."

He hit me on the back of the head again. "You must be blind, (Y/N). Do you need your eyes checked?"

"No." I replied casually. "If you need me, I'll be down in the kitchen making you dinner... Sire..."

I walked out of the door before I felt a firm grasp on my arm. I was yanked back into the room and thrown against the wall.

"You ungrateful twerp!" He yelled in my face. "I saved your life all those years ago and this is how you treat me?"

"S-Sir-"

"Shut up!" He yelled, kneeing me in the face.

I held my face in my hands as he left the room. Blood dripped onto my hands, clothes, and legs as I curled into a ball on the floor.

I heard the creak of the door hinges and before I could look up, I was being lifted onto something soft.

"(Y/N)," murmured a soft voice.

I slightly opened my red, swollen eyes and saw him crouched on the floor in front of me.

"Sir, I--"

He silenced me with a raise of his hand. "Call me (C/N)."

"W-what?"

"Call me (C/N). No more of this dumb Sir and Sire and whatnot." He leaned in and kissed my cheek, tasting my blood. ~ This is weird tbh... But he's a vampire, so... He hot :P ~

I opened my mouth to speak again but closed it as he continued to kiss my face, working his way down to my neck.

I pushed him as hard as I could, making him stumble into the wall. I tried to crawl off his bed but all my attempts were in vain since he had grabbed my ankle and was pulling me closer to him.

"Where do you think you're going?" (C/N) hissed.

He pushed me back down, hovering above me as I stared at him with wide eyes, afraid of what he was going to do to me.

Sensing my fear, he traced my jawline with his long, bony finger. "Come now, Dear, I won't hurt you." He lowered his head and resumed kissing my neck. "You're mine now," he mumbled before I felt a sharp pain lulling me to sleep.
