It had been a few months after my nanny died and things were getting back to normal. My mum and I have bonded more since my nannies death because we both lost our Best friend.
I didn't think things could get any worse until the Granda that I had got very very sick. It was heartbreaking I just lost my nanny so now I will probably loose my Granda. He got diagnosed with cancer in 2013. It was hard for all the family in and out of hospital visits day after day. He started to get a bit better and that's when I thought he can do this. He can be a cancer fighter.
November of 2013 came around and he was pretty much fine even though he was still battling cancer he didn't show it. We booked a trip to Alton towers. Me,mum, dad, brother,Granda, granny, uncle, auntie, cousin and cousin all went it was so fun. My Granda got a mobility scooter to help Him move around and I got to sit on his lap and drive it with him. I thought this is it he's going to beat it I know he can.
Christmas came round we all sat as a family. I was never close to my extended family but since my Granda was dying we had to be together as one. Christmas was quite good as far as I can remember.
I think we got to the middle of March 2014 when Granda got rlly sick again so he got admitted to hospital. He was in there for ages in and out in and out. He was out for my birthday in April then back In. I remember his 60th birthday party on the 8th April a night to remember 100%.
After his birthday he got extremely sick. He was in hospital for my mums birthday in May and I remember us sitting in the waiting room on her birthday.
My mum went into the hospital in either late May or early June and she walked in to see my Granda and he was gone. He lost his battle to cancer and that was the most heartbreaking thing after my nanny had gone.
I will never forget my nanny and Granda they will always be in my heart. I'm 12 now and not a day passes where I don't think of them.
